>When was the last time you played video games with other people in real life?
Never. Playing video games with other people is annoying and takes away the experience of playing video games. Watching people play games together is more enjoyable

Do people actually play single-player games or anything other than single-screen multiplayer? I thought that was just a running joke on Sup Forums.

I actually agree with this, to an extent.
I'm an only child, and growing up only a couple of my friends were into video games, so for the most part I played games by myself. Now, I love a good multiplayer game with a friend now and then, but playing a single player game with a friend around, having to explain things and feel like the way I play is being judged, it does kind of ruin the experience for me.
Oddly enough I really enjoy streaming single player games. I don't necessarily interact with the audience, when I have one that is, but I just kind of do a standard running commentary, almost as if I'm just talking to myself. For some reason, that makes certain games more enjoyable.
