I think most people are just over it. 1-3 were great but Sony keeps milking the franchise. This whole Norse theme just seems out of place and odd for Kratos, it doesnt make sense.

The story went to shit in 3

No, the Story was always bad. It was the least shit when it didn't delve too deep into itself but then 2 and 3 happened and it got a lot worse.

Simple Sup Forumsirgins will eat any shit made by D-tier Japanese devs like Idea Factory and call it GOTY and will call every western made game dogshit regardless of it's actual quality , not every game made by grorious nippon is good in fact most of the stuff made from 2008 onward is pure trash, but they would go on pretending to enjoy whatever Gust/NiS and Omega force shit out, weebness is cancer.

people care more about the gameplay of gow anyways. the story is there to lay context which it does fine.

Some of Sup Forums's favorite games are made by westerners. The thing is they're all CRPGs, RTS, FPS, etc because western devs generally suck at making pure 3rd person combat melee games compared to Japan.
