user I'm glad your life has been so full of promise that you have been able to accustom yourself to higher forms of comedy. Sadly my life has been pretty hit or miss for the last 3 years, in and out of hospital. So I've grown to appreciate simple things that can make me laugh.

The fact you don't find some of this funny and have a more refined taste is a good thing, because it means you've probably never been in a situation like mine, and I wouldn't wish it on anyone.

I remember when people used to call this board "Sup Forums 2.0" back then, because of this board getting flooded with shit like pizza tipping threads. I would still rather take that over what the board is now.

I got here too late for the "winrar over 9000 internets" era of this place, but the "shiggy diggy" times were pretty fun. To me, Sup Forums these days is just a depressing shadow of it's former self.

Early 2012 was pretty fun, but summer was so bad I quit Sup Forums for a few months. I also remember being on the "end of the world" stickies during December, with Majora's Mask music playing, those were nice.

I think it started in 2011, IIRC.

It's best this way, Sup Forums became too crowded, and it reached peak with the goobergate/ Sup Forums shit that was going on as well.
Many things have come and gone, but I'd much prefer subtle shitposting and casual conversations than all the degeneracy that was prevalent in 2011-2013
