Xcom: Enemy within

Xcom discussion

Bio modding is OP as fuck.
If you know how to play the terrain you can not only see the enemy before they see you, but you can take out half their squad before they get a chance to shoot back

Long war Thin men are fucking bullshit. Acid is OP

i miss the bio modding/mech suits in xcom 2 q.q

>gene modding
>when you can get 6 MECs with proximity mines and return fire

I really liked MECs even if they weren't often great.

I got so goddamn frustrated when they attack your base. it caught me so off guard.

I still haven't finished a game because I always fuck something up and have to load a save 25 days back to fix it and lose hours of gameplay which just makes me give up on the game and start over.

It's kind of an asshole move to have this slow-paced base management system going in the background while you play quick combat matches in the foreground and then surprise surprise you should have done this 20 days ago and now you're fucked

How fucking hard is it to keep track of how much power you have and churn out satellites as fast as you can?
That's literally it

You also have to research that Skeleton Key thing early on or the alien base mission becomes borderline impossible

>Usings MECS
>Getting shot at, ever.

>tfw you really like MECs but recognise getting shot when you can choose not to is stupid

This game will be the dark souls of xcom

Advice me some good and enjoyable to watch Long war letsplayers, and gibe torrent with all of beagle if anyone have it.

Were the performance issues in XCOM 2 ever fixed? I'm considering picking it up now that it's on sale.

How well will it run on a GTX 750 Ti?

Don't, game is boring shit even after LW2

Coincidentally I just started playing my first playthrough of this - What are some good beginner tips for a first timer?

Base game is better than LW2. Long war is seriously over rated.

we'll find out in two months when war of the chosen hits.

People still have performance issues apparently. Can't speak for it since XCOM2 runs PERFECTLY for me.

git gud scrub

EU/EW?

Get working on satellite capacity and the satellites themselves as soon as possible. That's literally the only thing that's not self-explanatory IMO, and you can really fuck yourself if you don't start that early. Satellites are essential to your income, continent bonuses, and not losing countries.

> Bio Modding is OP as fuck.

Do you mean "Mimetic Skin" is OP as fuck?

Why are these games so fucking good? I played xcom 2 for 16 hours in a row yesterday and had to force myself to quit

Shit opinion
