Sequel lets you revisit an area from the first game for some nostalgia

>Sequel lets you revisit an area from the first game for some nostalgia
I want more games to do this.

Indeed we need.

Haha wow Super is fucking garbage anyway can't wait to see the next episode it's gonna be epic!

Revisiting the Ishimura in DS2 was dreadfully great.

>The final World in Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze is a frozen DK Island from DKCR

>With each level being a frozen version of each World from Returns

It's better that they reuse animations then for them to have to half ass making new ones that will look worse

>When you go back inside and find the boulder blocking your path.

>Going back to Shadow Moses in MGS4

The fact that people could recognize a single unmemorable frame is quite... strange.

It's a weird show where it is advisable to skip the plot and watch the filler, rather than being the other way around as many modern animes.

shitposters say they hate super but watch it every week and go in frame by frame just to find shit to bitch about

I agree. How the fuck would anyone recognise that? I would never in a million years have noticed.

It's remarkable how much they reused. A lot of the Goku and Frieza stuff I manage to catch, but there were more than I expected. It explained why Basil had so much screen time as well.

OCELOT

>sequel lets you use information from the previous game to get an advantage

>that gif
I have many questions and my penis is confused

It was more than just a single frame

twitter.com/AnimeAjay/status/881514563476344836

This is great right after everybody creamed themselves over the one punch fight Goku and Frieza had.

Ahh, Gothic 2 :)

>They even played gruntilda's lair theme when you were in there

The music and seeing how rundown everything was made me sad.

Toei has reached a new level of lazy.

That doesn't even cover the instances where the episode copied animations from earlier in the episode.

ok, but again I still would not have been able to recognize that shit. Mainly because I got other shit going on that I don't have to see everything frame by frame.

Believe you me, I found the Black/Zamasu arc to be incredibly disappointing at the end amongst other gripes, but the whole reused animation complaint is seriously for a certain group of people.

I wanted to really stop and marvel at the sights, but the fucking enemies kept coming. It's been awhile since I played it, but I think they were neverending, so even killing them wouldn't let me be comfy.

I mean yeah, it's lazy. But it also saves a lot time and budget for the main fights coming up. So i can deal with it, much better than having another ressurection F arc level of quality.

>the original game lets you visit an area from the sequel for some time-travelling nostalgia

But I'll keep coming

>Revisiting those areas make you feel old

Let's share those places

>Shadow Moses in MGS4
>Jedi Temple in KOTOR 2
>Ostagar in Dragon Age DLC
>Black Temple in the Warlock quest of Pandaria

The last level in Halo 3 was nice. It even had its own warthog run sequence at the end.

>sequel puts you in a different character in the same place and time as the original game, so you can meet the main character from the original game and watch them do quests, progress and change the world of the game like in original

The state of DBShit.

Why the Sup Forumsermins love dbs so much so they have to make thinly veiled thread every week?

Also wasn't her laughter absent from the theme in tooie?

What am I looking at?

Read the thread.

OH MY GOD!

ask to redpill you, bitch.

You're a Sup Forumsermin by being here at any point regardless of what other boards you may visit.

> >Black Temple in the Warlock quest of Pandaria
> do Black Temple timewalking on PTR
> literally two people(including me) know the raid aside from oneshotting shit every week
> had to lead and explain fights
> a strange mix of nostalgia and sadness wash over me

It was quite strange. I felt old as hell because i knew these fights by heart after all these years still. I was suddenly reminded of the first few times me and my old guild attempted BT back in the day. It was bittersweet. It felt really awesome and I actually was impressed at how true the fights feel, but at the same time this melancholic feel of nostalgia was hard to shake.

I did and I still don't know what I'm looking at. They reused a scene from a previous episode? Why? Isn't it the exact same fight? I'm not caught up with DBS.

Holy fuck, WoW fags.

HAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

WELCOME TO THE 2017 FAGGOTS

It is beyond my undestanding how people can like and defend dbshit.

>Sequel forces you to revisit almost every area from the first game, often multiple times
>Third game forces you to revisit almost every area not revisited in the second game, as well as many that are
if i need to go through those sewers one more time i am going to delete japan

>Congestion Charge
>Race through the portion of the track that has that gas station
>Zoom past two shitters that try to ram eachother all the time
>Suddenly explosion behind me that propels me forward even faster
>TFW just barely escaped a fireball

>sequel let's you go to the main hub city from the last game
>it's destroyed

I used to watch DBZ a little when I was a kid, but I'm not a huge weeb. The only animus I downloaded and watched were FMA and evangelion. Should I watch DBZ?

>playing the first three Dragon Quest games back to back

Nothing will ever beat going back to the mining colony in gothic 2.

Watch Guyver faggot

They recycled animations to save time and money.

This wouldn't even be acceptable in the 90s. What the fuck toei.

I don't care how awfully balanced was Kanto in Pokemon G/S, I remember how fucking good it felt to discover it was still in that game.

The absolute state of Toei

Personnaly I don't like nor defend it, I just have a weird sense of curiosity and I want to know how deep this shit will go

Why do people act as if reused animation is somehow a new practice?

>Posts Jojo
>A show that reused animation all the fucking time

Because they didn't watched he-man.
Or well, any cartoon from filmation.

IS THAT MOTHERFUCKING URANAI BABA'S ARENA?

Yeah, he's mirroring his fight against his grandpa in that scene while waiting for Frieza.

usually it's just like stock footage, like when a pokemon does an attack in the show. i can't remember any instances of fully choreographed extended fight scenes being copypasted like that

...

>all those replies unironically defending this shit as a good thing

Oh wow.

It's an horrid shame that There's almost no porn of ruby, except for some really, really, REALLY bad artist and 2-3 other black & white pics

It's a prequel, but whatever. One of the few decent things about CC was getting to explore a little more of Midgar.

what game does this?

>He thinks I watched the anime

>fight with gohan mirroring his fight against gohan

Dogs do that to me, seeing one make me remember when my dog deflowered me against my will, and the many coupling that followed haha
I always feel so nostalgic when I see a dog, it makes me fall on the ground and spread my legs haha

>posts Jojo
>a manga that reused fashion magazine poses all the fucking time

I don't see gohan being as nearly as smart as gohan to play the part like that.

>trying to spot dogs on the internet
Not working, not all.

Dogs can't even type on a keyboard don't be silly I'm not a dog haha
I bet you're a fucking cat fuck off mate haha

mgs4 does this beautifully.
goosebumps and chokes all over

>Seeing the going back to hiatus at the end of a chapter
Truly, Miura has made the fanbase suffer as much as Guts himself

Clearly you havn't watched a lot of 80/90's anime

None. It's a little dream of mine

That looks worse than the original

how the fuck did they manage to make a game 10 years later worse in every way

CC was a shit game, and I'm glad it's considered not canon anymore, along with everthing else in the FF7 compilation besides the original game

>twitter.com/AnimeAjay/status/881514563476344836

>those fucking comments

Jesus fuck, this is all the proof you need that weebs are retarded.

WHAT!? WHAT!? NO WAY FUCK

Read the manga.

Anime and western cartoons reuse animations all the fucking time, just because you realize that now when somebody took the time to make a video of it doesn't mean it's exclusive to DBSuper you retard, since Sup Forums is 18ยด+ and generally you should be an adult by now, then you must be pretty dense if you just realized this now

Super is still shit though.

Why does Toei insist on ruining the shows it revives after 20 years?

Dragonball has always been lowbrow, but since I invested all this time to it then I'm gonna keep watching it without bitching too much since only I decide if I keep watching it or not

Not to that degree motherfucker.

In an extension it would lead to interesting results. Imagine an open world (preferably as it would be easier to design a system I'm talking about around open world rather than linear one: hubs would do too, I think) trilogy. In the first game you do something and alter the history and the final state of the game's world. If you had a sequel, to which you could load a save from a previous game similarly to Mass Effect, you could see and interfere with first game's hero's actions, including preventing him from achieving his goals or even killing him (effectively undoing everything you made as this character and all the changes he brought to the world). Then, if you could load a save from the sequel to a third game, it would take all that into consideration and let you interfere with both previous characters' actions, including stopping or even killing any of them, so if you killed the second character before he killed the first character, the first character would do all that shit you've done in the first game.

There would be so many possibilities. However, it is only doable in an isometric RPG, since creating a system so complex on top of a 3D game with an open world and different mechanics and graphical features 3D games have that isometric 2D games don't, would be practically impossible nowadays even for the biggest companies.

Yes, to that degree, did you ever watch Sailor Moon for example? It's like at least 1-3 minutes of the same transformation every episode, and it could be even worse

>its the "dbs always been meh" argument again when someone calls out how shit super is

Im so bored of talking with you fags over it. DBZ is the anime that spoke to multiple generations. It deserves better than this shit and you know it.

I had the biggest crush on Nall. Stupid sexy cats.

He's sadly on the same boat.

It was great when I was a kid, rewatching it as an adult it wasn't AS great as how I enjoy Berserk/JoJo/Flipflappers etc. But it's still okay, and idgashit about consistency or "muh powerlevels" since that shit was inconsistent as fuck as well only moments after Vegeta came to Namek

Just because it's lowbrow doesn't mean it can't be enjoyable, for some reason you equate lowbrow to meh

Why do you throw flippy flappy in there alongside things that have actually made names for themselves?

Shits still hype bro. I rewatch that shit and YYH every other year. As great as i remember too.

Jojo is good but its the anime someone brings up when they want to broadcast how "good" their taste is to the world. Also ive noticed these people have sticks up their asses about anime in general.

t. Someone whose intro to jojo was the playstation game

"Lowbrow" is often used to describe something that is "for idiots" and is used in place of words such as bad so you cant really blame me for taking it that way.

Because I didn't want to bring up only old names like Hokuto no Ken and Ginga Eiyuu Densetsu, and that anime was pretty good except the somewhat scrambled together ending

>Jojo is good but its the anime someone brings up when they want to broadcast how "good" their taste is to the world.
That is Kaiji. Also lotgh.

I don't see what's the big deal.
Dragonball super is dragonball, it got the tone and everything.
If you want to watch a boring abortion, just watch GT, super isn't that.
