While SC is basically positioning and buffing units with simple off and def upgrades with a few useful abilities from the list

Compare that to chess. What a joke chess is. Clearly the smart people would choose Dota2

chess is all about positioning but that gets stale because nothing else changes.

dota has lots of positioning based on the mechanics it has.

Just because RTS is more organized into 3 races that doesnt mean it has more depth.

I'm playing dota2 and juggernaut is going for Diffusal Blade against a team of spell casters.

Wut? RTS games also have all of those on top of more mechanics to look after.

The talents are getting better though. Removing respawn timers was the best decision icefraud made this year. Other than your pic related talent choices, this patch has been one of the most fun ones in years. Playing support has never been this fun.

SC = Quake - fast, no depth
DotA = CS - slow, much depth

Not to mention previously you often and 1 or 2 players at level 25 and now it feels like every second game your team reaches 25. Also because of the talents it feels like a race to the top as the lvl 25 talents are often quite impactful. Previously it was dimishing returns after lvl 16. I wouldn't mind bumping the last level of ult to 18, but the talents need to go.

This game seriously good as tutorials to attract people but knowing Valve they will just leave it to the "community" to make them.

I can't enjoy dota2 anymore because i get punished even harder when i left the game because i have a life emergency. Matchmaking is still full of thirdworlder that make communication and teamworking a fucking nightmare.

I enjoy my time in LoL more in dota2. Although i still follow dota2 competitive scene. Liquid will win TI and Kuroky will always be right. I hope NP crash and burn so i can anime shitpost on the general
