Do you buy retail or digital?

Do you buy retail or digital?

retail because console games are more expensive digital for some fucking reason

>digital always
i live in a shitty 3rd woRLD country so retail games never get discounts like digital and the market of used games fuckers always try to sell the game like brand new just because the box/disc

Both. There's really no reason to do both. I usually go with whatever is cheaper.

Physical every time on console (unless it's a digital console exclusive), and digital on PC because of refunds, unless I find a physical PC game for dirt cheap

whichever is cheaper

some PS3 games aren't on online store so I'm about 50/50 physical/digital there, but I'll probably go 100% digital once I get a PS4.

honestly I like the physical thing but it's so fucking inconvenient to swap discs, I can't wrap my head around why anyone would do it willingly.

>Victorian maid Maria
That alone makes up for the astounding shit taste you have in almost everything else.

Preordering retail gives me 20% off, so it's usually cheaper than digital day one anyway.
And physical copies go down in price quicker than digital on consoles, so I usually pick up physical on older games too.

Digital almost exclusively.
Haven't bought a physical game in ages.

Mainly cause always buy imports and I don't like waiting for shipping.

physical on consoles, digital on PC because I have no choice

Purely digital. My current PC doesn't even have a disc drive. On ps4 I choose to pay extra for digital, easily worth it.

Digital PC, physical on console unless there's a good offer on the store.

>There's really no reason to do both.
There's a huge reason. Having to deal with physical media ever.

For my PS4 physical, for my Switch digital only, too much of an hassle.

buy?

Physical ps4, digital PC, but I've literally just bought the Crash remake on digital for PS4, managed to pay the same price as retail as well and no where's getting it back in stock for ages

the less you support retail, the sooner we'll get well priced digital

Yeah that's true. But you can be fucked over by digital.

At least with physical if I hate the game I can sell it. I can trade it in. Hell I can even give it to a friend or a retarded nephew. Unless the game physically break, I have it forever.

Digital isn't the case (unless we're referring to Steam). Going full digital on console is fucking retarded. Like I said I do both, based on pricing, but I'll never go full digital. I do understand how annoying it can be to have to swap fucking discs when you want to play something else sometimes.

I buy physical, mostly. I tend to only go digital if it's something cheap, or I have no other choice.

>so retail games never get discounts
This.
I can find you a copy of HL1 that still costs 60 euros.

>Ninja Gaiden 2
Supreme taste, user

Physical only.

No packaging or shipping costs. No warehouse storage or damage from workers incompetence. Every download is marked to an account, which limits usage entirely. Yet they still charge full price. Why the fuck do people support digital purchases?

>implying that is him

Piero and Jungle de Ikou are bretty good

Physical nigga

Where did you steal that game?

I bought it with my paycheck

*welfare check

>vidya and animu merch/posters

You suck dicks, don't you?

Physical if i really like the game, digital if it's cheap.

PC digital

Everything else physical if I can though there have been a few times I've gone digital for convenience/money saving reasons.

with the exception of PC games (because more often than not, the disc is useless and requires you to use steam or whatever anyways), always physical
if i can't get a physical copy of something then i usually pirate it if possible, or not play it at all if not

Limited editions I buy. Everything else digital

Physical on console, unless it's not possible, and digital on PC. Digital games don't feel like video games. If I'm not putting a disc in to play, it feels wrong. Same way i feel with music.

I like your Gintama wall scroll there, always wanted to get that one.

True should be cheaper no middle man and paying for cds

>Buying air.

Retail. I like having a literal copy of my games. If something is on sale on psn or steam then yea sure I'll get digital, but I definitely prefer a hard copy
Plus, you get the tubular case art that a digital copy can't provide

Darkies Souls

Physical when I can. Digital when the game is +10 years old, on sale, or isn't available at my local gameshop. Seriously, I have yet to find a physical copy of MGS HD Collection.

Also, digital if it means I can pirate it.

I have it with the art book, is it worth anything?

Used physical off of ebay exclusively.

This.
