Why is it that Maiden in Black and Plain Doll are memorable, but Emerald Herald and Fire Keeper aren't?

One of the first things Gehrman says to you is a creepy line about fucking the doll, so of course it attracts Sup Forums autists.

Because DaS2 and 3 are complete and utter garbage and I think we should all just pretend those games don't exist.

Maiden in black is memorable because she was the first one and the doll because she was an interesting character herself both by design, backstory and personality that was expanded upon in the DLC

I'd say the doll and maiden are only more interesting by a very small margin, and that's thanks to the good voice performance and her accent. I was shocked to see Souls 3 have the most boring level up girl to date, it's like they went for the most vanilla shit possible.
