They're not completely replacing Waddle Dees like they did in Royal Road so I imagine it's just for variety's sake.

Yeah okay, this is totally a test for a full 3D Kirby game. Wouldn't surprise me one bit if we get one in like 2 to 3 years.

We already tired that once and it just didn't work out. Kirby threads need to stay slow and comfy a majority of the time. Everything that embodies /vg/ will just ruin the threads.

I actually thought up a control scheme for a 3d kirby game with copy abilities earlier that could build on the one we got
A-Jump
B-Inhale/attack 1
Y-Slide/attack 2
X-Discard ability
L-Guard/Swallow
R-Hold to Dash (allows more precision for dash attacks)

that might be true, but Sup Forums isnt exactly the comfier of the two boards

Also the racing mode isn't bad. It's good just not as sublimely good as city trial.

Top ride sucks though.
