Call of Duty™: Ghosts xD!

5

Rune Factory 3

Fallout new vegas ultimate edition even tho I already bought the normal game and Dues Ex HR Directors cut

I pirated Tales of Vesperia for PS3 and loved it. Ended up buying it because it turns out the pirated version can't do NG+ without having a specific clean file.

Furi, Vanquish

Endless legend

unironically metal gear rising
because the russian rip had too many bugs

Resident Evil 6. Kept hearing how shit it is, ended up being way better than 5 for me.

Is 50 Cent /one of us/?

Shovel Knight

i think i did this with rimworld, fallout 2, risk of rain, and binding of issac

mostly cheap or indie

Monster Hunter Tri, I've bought every game in the series since.

Witcher 3 with DLC.
Skyrim

Papers Please

Civilization IV
I'd tried the demo that stops after 100 turns. I wanted more, so I pirated it but still felt like I should express my love for the game. So I bought it, never had any regret.

Plenty of times. Phoenix Wright games, Layton games, mostly portable stuff since that's easier to pirate. 7th Dragon is the latest one I found to love through piracy.

I know Sup Forums is going to hate me for this but that tweet is just gross. It's not even funny. I'm not even going to go into the whole objectifying women thing either.

fucking based Fiddy

Man, other than the Amaburi gags, I haven't heard of 50 since the Kanye thing.

Whatever happened to him?

Also, Witcher 2 OP.

50 is a Alpha neet at heart FeelsGoodMan

Thinking about a black man masturbating is disgusting.

He had a good mixtape last year and had a few hits last year too, he's mostly just producing Power since that show is doing really good for him the now.

This, it helped me to buy Tri onwards, the time I didn't tried the pirated Generations first I ended up regretting it.

i bought fallout 4 then pirated it then bought it again just to pirate it again

Dude, you going to kill Bethesda like that.

Back when I was a teenager with no money I pirated a lot of games. These days I've bought nearly all of them, since I can afford to now.
I don't pirate games any longer.

Mount&Blade: Warband. Showed it to my friends, they loved it and immediately bought it. Ofc I then bought it too, mostly for the multiplayer.

Yeah, pretty much every single title on my Steam account. I consider piracy to be little more than a demo without limitations. If, and only if, your game isn't complete dogshit, you'll get some sheckels from me.

Ori and the Blind Forest

F.E.A.R.

Trails in the Sky.

That series almost died in the west due to rampant pirating on the PSP, and not only did the publisher never blame pirates for the games failure, but still released the sequel anyway on two platforms notorious for pirating. They earned my business forever.

Ghost Trick

Dragon's Dogma

Dead Cells even though it's early access shit
It's just really fun and I couldn't be bothered to keep torrenting a new build whenever they release an update

Hollow knight.

bit trip runner
i beat it, then bought it when it was on sale and bought runner2 when in it's first week because it had a little discount
I really enjoyed those games

dark souls, terraria and minecraft

Lots of times, last time it was 7th Dragon III.

Games are so easy to just buy nowadays that I don't really bother pirating anything anymore. The 3DS is an exception though, I usually play the games a bit before release to find out if they are worth buying.

The first Dark Souls.

this. For me it's more of a risk to download some shady shit than pay a couple bucks for a guaranteed working copy

Chrono Trigger
Final Fantasy V, VI, VII, VIII and IX
GTA III, VC, SA, IV
Silent Hill 1 and 2
MGS 1, 2 and 3
Deus Ex
Zelda OoT, MM, WW and TP
Super Mario World, 64, Galaxy, galaxy 2,
Metroid Fusion, Zero Mission, Prime Trilogy
grew up pirating and emulating stuff but then I started having my own money and bought them, mostly digitally.

Did that with like half of the games I own actually.

Games I pirated and now have on steam:
Crypt of Necrodancer
FTL
Rogue Legacy
Dragon Age: Origins
Papers, Please
Bastion
DX:HR
Mass Effect
Stanley Parable
Super Meat Boy
Torchlight II
VA-11 Hall-A
VVVVVV
World of Goo

To be fair, some of these came in bundles.

Good job showing us who's boss.
Don't forget to pre-order Skyrim for the Nintendo Switch!

Mirror's Edge
Dead Space 1&2
Stalker SoC, CS & CoP

Nier automata. Does planning to buy it count?

Battleborn. It was already super cheap and the game is good so no regrets.

>game is good

yooure mum pusy op, roasted haha

Unironically Skyrim

My whole steam library is games I pirated years ago and bought recently because I have a job

I blame growing up Catholic

when a large chunk of human revolution leaked early I played it to see how bad it was, and as soon as I finished the content it had I preordered the full game
does that count?

Lisa The Painfull, thankfully it was dirt cheap.

>Sup Forums not always wrong about a games

No, because Steam.
Put it on GoG and I'll seriously consider it.

But as far as I know Japanese publishers don't trust it.

Do sequels count?
If so Borderlands 2, pirated the 1st one and never brought myself to buy it since you could play online perfectly with the pirated version.

>Sup Forums says Sup Forums is always wrong

Rimworld.

World in Conflict.

The day that i wanted to buy it was the day the expansion was announced.

Fortuntly, they announced it before i went to the store.

Stardew Valley

I bought all of the stalker games and beat them before buying them because I found out stalker 2 was never coming out and I cried

50's tweets are art.

Ironically enough, Assassin's Creed Black Flag.

I only once pirated a game because I was afraid of falling for a scam but it was legit so I never pirated again. Hyper Light Drifter

It's weird though i'm kind of in the same, iused to pirate every fucking think possible but after graduating from college, working etc ... i actually found myself buying way more than what i use to event if shit is pirateable

Zelda BotW

Pirated Kero Blaster, when come to steam buyed it

Generally, as a rule of thumb for me, if I can buy a game I pirated and liked as a DRM free copy, I will do so.

Very rarely will I buy from Steam.

Dark souls 3

I think the only game I pirated and then bought immediately after playing it for a few hours was Dark Souls.

Factorio.
I'm still fucking awful, but I enjoy it.

dark souls
witcher 2
eye divine cybermancy
risk of rain

Warband, Dishonored, Dark Souls, Witcher 2 and Oblivion. Well-earned money.

Ys VI, but in my defence only the fan translation existed when I played it.

left 4 dead

My entire steam library

Hotline Miami

evvery game I've recently bought in steam sales
danganronpa, dragons dogma, dx:hr, more weebshit etc

>MFW I pirated Hotline Miami 2 because the devs said I could

Glad I didn't find a way to buy it, that game isn't nearly as good as HM1

Shovel Knight
Cave Story+
Bionic Commando Rearmed
Shadowrun Returns
Sonic Generations
Torchlight
Bioshock
Darksiders
Final Fantasy IX
Grandia
Jet Set Radio
Metal Slug 3

the list is long. I mostly download games to see how they run on PC.

>pirates are usually your best costumers
But all that money I wasted on DRM.

youtube.com/watch?v=0Qkyt1wXNlI

I did buy Sandman after pirating.

I think most people that pirate then buy are the exception, not the rule. I think most people that pirate do it because they're poor.

I didn't, lol!

I bought the American Gods after pirating Sandman. I didn't like it as much.

Practically all games I own on Steam that aren't multiplayer only. Outside of Steam every game. So about 100 games I've bought after pirating it first.

Undertale

>Neil Gaiman is a decent bloke.
What a shock.

Mountain Blade

but I havent played it almost at all afterwards

Is there a gold mine for more of these tweets?

Boktai 1 and 2. Tracking them down was pretty hard though.

Pirates actually buy way more than non-pirates. You know, because pirates care enough about a thing to consume as much as possible off it while the normies buy the new Fifa and CoD and nothing else and have no need to pirate because they don't care about all the other games.

Cities: Skylines and a couple DLCs

Love me some poop tsunamis

It is gross. Fiddy gets away with it though since girls already want to unabashedly get an opportunity to sleep with him.

If this was some regular Joe shmoe, people would generally be disgusted.

Rayman Origins and Dead Space.

Darkest Dungeon
I mostly just wanted the content updates
