Why aren't we talking about Mighty Gunvolt Burst?

Why aren't we talking about Mighty Gunvolt Burst?

As much as I regret backing the original MN9, this shit right here is actually fun. It's definitely what the original MN9 should have been.

>Why aren't we talking about Mighty Gunvolt Burst?
No one's buying new 3DS games at this point

who the fuck said anything about buying?

people here don't want to admit that IntiCreates still has talent, and that Beck can still be the face of a good game.

they'd rather live in a black & white reality where those two entities will always represent everything wrong with the industry.

Because there is nothing to talk about, and I love the game.

it was pretty cool. my main complaint would be that the elements don't really feel like you're adding an element to the weapon like why doesn't freeze stop enemies or impact push guys back? best thing were the bosses like Countershade and Seismic

If a new MegaMan game ever did come out from Capcom, what reason would anyone ever have to care about MN9 as a franchise/brand? How much potential does Beck really have in that regard?

Remember back when people were campaigning for Shovel Knight, Shante, Quote, and other shitty indie characters to be in Smash 4? Not a single person gave a damn about Beck being put in the game, and that was because MegaMan was already in it.

>Customisation Megaman-like Platformer
This game sounds pretty neat, is that broken or is it still challenging?

Its harder than any classic megaman game, and then you unlock hard mode

Cool, thanks I'll try it out

Inti Creates made all the good Mega Man platformers this side of the millennium. I would not have high hopes for Capcom after the last three X games

I don't like the gunvolt games.

This doesnt play like a gunvolt game at all, there is no tagging mechanic

if you get all the CP upgrades you can make some ridiculously broken weapons. like the final boss's health was draining at an insane rate from my cluster shot large exploding missiles. it will take till the last few levels to get insanely broken though so it's fine

MN 9 should go the way of Valis and be bought by an H game company.

This.

Even if you play as Gunvolt?

wait what

Gunvolt still gets his special attacks, but he doesn't tag enemies to beat them. Just shooting works.

My only complaint is how clumsy the process of equipping weapons is. They should allow us to have a quick-select menu, or even make use of the shoulder buttons to allow us to cycle between different setups.

Fortunately Inti has the habit of updating their games with functionality stuff, so hopefully this feature will make its way into the game in the future.

>a quick-select menu
A la ZX, I mean.

Syd of Valis was a popularish series that, when the company which owned it went out of business, was sold to a porn company. There are now more Valis porn games than regular Valis games. If the games had a tight budget, the characters should just sell their bodies.

Mm9 want even that bad you guys are fucking faggots. This game is like 70% mn9 already just without the shit graphics.

>This game is like 70% mn9 already just without the shit graphics.
This game is NOTHING like MN9 outside of the stage motifs and bosses. There's actual thought put into the level design for once, which is evident by the fact that the stages are not just corridors with enemies.

Because I don't have money

It's 10 dollars.
You can get 10 dollars just by finding lost change on the street.

I don't live in murrica either

The normal mode is actually easier than regular megaman, but I would still consider it worth playing if you like going for high scores. Can't speak to hard mode, got caught up in other games before I went down that road.

Hard mode changes the attack patterns for all enemies.

I downloaded it, but I haven't played past the first stage. The customization shit seems unnecessary. I just want a simple run and gun (and jump) experience in this type of game.
