Band land in Rayman was a really pretty area. Never forget that wonderful land.
A pirate game forced into an Assassins creed skin
Even the MC doesn't give a fuck about the assassins
GIVE US A SONG LADS
CAPIN OVER BOARD
The one and only good AC game
And the reason it's good is because it's the least AC-like one. That shows that AC itself is a trash series
It shows the best way to make an AC game. By not making one.
COME ON YOU YOUNG SAILORMEN LISTEN TO ME
I'LL SING YOU A SONG OF THE FISH IN THE SEA
I'm hoping they keep a seamless open world like this one in Origins. Yes there were loading screens in cities but it was done pretty well for a last gen game.
WINDY WEATHER BOYS STORMY WEATHER BOYS

Sorry boys I gotta go with the usual
The only thing I like about the new AC games is how each MC seems to not give a shit about the assassin
Syndicate and Black Flag were mostly about stories of self gain its just that the templars are in the way and the assassins are even bigger dicks

A pretty fun pirate game. The AC fight mechanics make boarding vessels pretty cool, rather than just sinking them.
You'll find yourself focusing more on the pirating and seamanship stuff than the AC stuff, which may end up burning you out quick. There's really not a whole ton Of customization you can do on your ship. A few tiers of upgrades on your ship components and some sail colors and shit, but that's about it. There's no way to trade in your ship for a bigger or better one, you'll be stuck with the same one the whole game. Which isn't TOO bad, just disappointing. When I found out I couldn't commandeer a Man o War and deck that motherfucker out with primo upgrades I was beside myself with grief.
Other than that it's okay. Worth a play. If you're looking for a more pure pirate experience, I'd say try Tempest. Boarding mechanics are super lackluster, but the seamanship and ship-to-ship combat are noice, and there are way more customization and upgrade options. It was cheap when I picked it up on sale, like 3 bucks or something. Well worth that price.
Why aren't there any mods on the PC version of black flag? I feel like it could be 15/10 if they released the right mods.

Just fucking play it you twat, you already own that shit and its a fucking game about pirates
Christ I hate these "what am i in for" threads
Good pirate game.
Good shanties.
It's adequate. Good to sink 30+ hours in. Worth it for £5-7
SOMEBODY ONCE TOLD ME THE WORLD IS GONNA ROLL ME, I AIN'T THE SHARPEST TOOL IN THE SHED!
Good sailor shanties simulator. If you ignore it as an Assassin's Creed game it gets even better.
My second favorite game in the AC series. Only thing holding it back are the stupid tailing missions that were nowhere near as annoying in AC2 (my favorite in the series). Other than that, it has really good gameplay and an excellent story that had me on the verge of manly tears at the end.
Stealth parts are easily the worst thing about AC games
You know the rumor about Skull and Bones is how its a pirate game with out the ass creeds shit
the gameplay reveal didnt have boarding since people would instantly know its AC so they are working something out
>Part where you follow Dutch slaver
>Get caught almost two times on accident
>Finally get to the end of the mission
>Dutch dude just spots me anyway.
Yeah this game is at it's best when it's NOT trying to remind you it's wearing the Ass Creed franchise so it could sell the Pirate stuff.
That's because Skull and Bones isn't really a full Pirate - Ass Creed game. It's a Ship Combat Arena game, essentially Rainbow Siege but with pirate ships.
OF ALL THE MONEY THAT I EVER HAD
Forgot to add, IF you really want an upcoming pirate game that looks good (as pirate games go) then Sea of Thieves looks good.
Anyone remember that thread with the legit Alpha players in it and we all had a chill time actually asking how the game was going and what you could potentially do in it? Shit was cash and got me interested in grabbing it.
HEEEAVE A PAAAWL OH HEEEAVE AWAY
WAAAAY HAAAAY ROLL AND GO
>essentially Rainbow Siege but with pirate ships.
that sounds good then
Isn't rogue the same as 4 but in the north atlantic?

Ehh if you think so. I think it's a HUGE waste of potential, having Black Flag minus Ass Creed but turning it into an Arena shooter. I guess because they're still too afraid to sell a "non-standard" type of game without a franchise to carry it.
Yes but I said the rumor was they have ground combat but its too "AC like" so they want to differentiate something
>It's a Ship Combat Arena game, essentially Rainbow Siege but with pirate ships.
You play as the Assassins best captain but they force you to destroy a city killing alot of people so you get pissed and join the templars
>essentially Rainbow Siege but with pirate ships.
Best way I could describe what we saw at E3.
Though it may just be Ubi attemping to dip their toe in how a "non-standard" setting like Pirates can carry itself when not supported by a franchise ala Ass Creed or even PoTC.
...
What? I think that having a basically ship combat only game just feels limiting on the Pirate Fantasy part. I mean you could easily have the setting be the American Revolution, or The Napoleonic Wars, or any moment in history that involved Tall Ship naval combat, and you'd still have the same game more or less.
If you're doing a Pirate game, then I want the full pirate experience. Grog, Exploring, and shit like that. Not the ship combat and only the ship combat with maybe a non-Ass Creed boarding system.
Really good boat mechanics with stuff in between them that you'll want to get out of the way with so you can get back to the boat stuff
Fun.
You'll actually have fun with this one.
Someone explain to me how BoTW is a better open world game
