Pre-21st century American households were suffering

Throwing the Dreamcast out the window.

S H A D I L A Y

>all that oakland raiders shit
>bars on windows
LOL

PS3
Watched Talladega nights 3 times that night,
What a launch!

>dad's hair
Must've been in a punk band

scalping the shit outta wii us and making over a grand from sad virgins

those are blinds you idiot

This image has an extremely comfy 90's feel to it, shame that world is gone now.

>vertical blinds not on a sliding door
>oakland raiders
Trash taste.

I've never bought a console on launch. The only time I tried was Wii and that took 3 months.

>dad's
>'s
>'

You dumb fuck.

>bars inside

kek

Is he trying to see if it works by pressing the power button without having a single damn thing plugged in? Is his hair dyed? Does he like the fucking the raiders? Jesus christ

When the PS3 and Wii came out I remember watching the launch parties live. Those events used to be so huge in 2006-2007.
It was a very hyped time to be a kid.

why would you need blinds on a door?

>hating 90's Raider

go to hell m8

>mum and dad pre order me a Wii
>go on German Christmas Market school trip
>come home and go to Gran's for Christmas
>play Wii Sports and Twilight Princess on the tiny kitchen TV for fucking hours

Got bored of the Wii quickly though. I didn't grow up with Nintendo consoles bar the Gameboy Colour and Pokemon, Mario and that other shit never appealed to me, I realised that barely any games on the Wii interested me.

Think I got Twilight Princess and Red Steel with the console. Red Steel was pretty shit, the swordfights were awful but WOAH YOU CAN TURN THE GUN TO THE SIDE.

Got excite truck a bit later and fucking loved that though, good stuff.

/end blog

Never got to play consoles at launch because my old man was reluctant of buying new stuff, he was of the "the nintendo still works, why do you want a new one?" school of thought. The first console i got to buy with my hard earned shekelidoos was a PS2 and that was in 2005 because eating was first and didnt get a well paying job until 2007.

It's carpet, you blind nigger.

>soul calibur
>sonic adventure
>hotd 2
>power stone
>nfl blitz 2000
>ready 2 rumble boxing
>trickstyle
>all available at launch
>still failed
its not fair bros the dreamcast was suppose to save sega

Because a sliding glass dor is just a giant ass window. Wouldnt want any niggers peeking in at your Raider stuff would you?

Don't allow your console to natively play burned CDs then.

Dreamcast, huge hype behind it and I got it for Xmas but I could never get the fucker online.
Having got a WiiU near launch as well I realize i'm a curse upon consoles

modded ps1 were super popular in europe, i honestly think that was the reason why it sold so much.

I played Resistance, Marvel Ultimate Alliance and Ridge Racer 7 online all night. It was actually one of my first experiences of playing online beside Phantasy Star on the Dreamcast.

Hard to believe people still play Ridge Racer 7 online:

you're not american are you?

Did I use improper grammar?
Looks fine to me.

BTW Ridge Racer 7 is probably the only 1080p/60fps game on last gen consoles and it was only on PS3.

100% the dude aboused the boy

Can you prove it's a carpet?

unironically, I've sold hacked Wii Us and 3DS for a marked up price to normies who wanted to play Pokemon and Zelda. Made enough money to build a new PC.

It does. I miss those times.

my father and I pirating the playstation

honestly sega could have fixed this if system updates over dialup or broadband existed for consoles back then

I'm kinda glad they didn't. The best games seem to come out of platforms that are in a bad spot.

In high school me and a couple other friends waited all night at a target to get wii's. smoked and bullshitted around all night. It's the only console I've actually waited in line for.

>console on carpet
ruined some controllers like thiis

I still remember getting a Dreamcast at launch with my dad and older brother at the mall. Picked up Sonic Adventure and House of the Dead 2. The store ran out of memory cards so we couldn't save our game progress, what we did was just leave the Dreamcast running 24/7 until we got one.

I never got consoles on launch, just got them on Christmas desu
