Hotel Dusk, but that's mainly because it's old and has probably already been talked about to death.

Anachronox

Fucking Arms

Kyle is cute, CUTE!

Soul Calibur
Why did it have to die

Kyle is a badass with a heart of gold

The Legend of Legacy.
I made a thread that got a good amount of replies but over half of it was me and one guy talking about The Alliance Alive (which looks really good).

Codename steam

I'm here too you know

Tomodachi Life

I heard V3 was bad

How is despair girls.
From what people post, it seems to be much more sexual than the others, even though the others also had a lot of fanservice.

I want to fuck Monaca and Kotoko.

Oh hey again TAA user!
Any news on a localization or a fan translation?

...

Mediocre gameplay but worth it if you are a fan of the serie. And it is indeed pretty lewd.

I wasn't a fan of the gameplay.

Probably worth a playthough for Komaru alone though. Maybe it's better on PC with mouse and keyboard if it's offered there.

its great on pc
60fps

Don't have a vita, so I probably have to watch it instead.
But I might give it a watch even so. While I wait for the V3 translation.

Aside from that one scene, it's really not. That particular scene is all about a molested little girl projecting her abuse onto the MC. It's a pretty good game overall, much more interesting antagonists than the main games.

You already know the answer to that, it's only been one day man

Though I'll let you in on a secret: The most likely place you could go to discuss tLoL around here is actually the SaGa generals on /vr/, and you probably wouldn't think to look there for obvious reasons
But the anons who frequent there are incredibly chill and their threads stay afloat for a long time, so you may wish to pay a visit there
Otherwise godspeed on your journey, you may be the only fanboy of that game in the world

Play the PC version, my man.

Be hopeful that there will be more kotko porn

Fuck I didn't know it had one.
And the summer sale JUST ended. Gonna wait for another sale then.

I sure hope so.

I really doubt it unless she appears in V3

Is 8 Way Run dead?

it wasn't even on sale thats why i pirated it

Rivals of Aether indie smash bros in the same style as melee but easier, the roster is small but every character feels unique instead of 20 half fleshed out champs. Game is so good

I know, I was just wondering since a lot of fan translations come out of /vg/.
I was under the impression that SaGafags disliked TLoL though, and 3DS isn't allowed on /vr/ right?
But thanks user, I'll test the waters there and see

I've already revealed one secret too many- you'll have to figure the rest out yourself
But it'll all make sense if and when you find your way there, as the posts in the current one answer every question you have now anyway

X series

Alright then
Pretty much only visited /vr/ to talk about Ecco the Dolphin before but eh.

Puyo Puyo. Not Tetris fuck you PPT is awful and Tetris is OP
Kero Blaster.

Daily reminder that Kyoko is a trash tier waifu

All DGR waifus are trash, everyone knows the boys are so much better.

I saw that. You poor sod. Tbf though both games look like a lot of fun and I'm not even a SaGafag. Will probs try out Legacy and hope for a fan translation at the very least for Alliance Alive, I don't think that game is getting localized.

I'm alright with this

Motherfucking Rogue Galaxy. One of my favorite RPGs on the PS2 that no one talks about. It isn't amazing by any means, but the setting of space pirates going from planet to planet is my biggest weakness. It's on the PS2 classics on PSN alongside the Dark Cloud games for some reason.

This was one of those games that came out right near the end of the ps2's lifetime so it got overlooked, but it was a solid JRPG. I didn't get to play it until years later on an emulator and it was a great ride. Good taste user.

>alongside the Dark Cloud games for some reason.
Didn't the theoretical Dark Cloud 3 get turned into this, or was that some other game?

Thanks user, I hope you enjoy it, eshop demo is decent length. Remember, always run from Wraithfangs.
We can only hope for a localization, I really want to play it.

Good to see someone else enjoy it. It really did have a shitty release date, it came out around FFXIII and really had no chance for any attention.

I dunno, some places still claim that Dark Cloud 3 will eventually come.

I probably DL Legend of Legacy after I am done playing through Ever Oasis. I have a coworker who was really into SaGa II I think? on ps1 watched him play a lot of that at work. Is it similar?

The Baten Kaitos games, some of the best JRPG combat. And the first one has a 10/10 twist. Infinite Space is another one. I'd kill for a sequel with a good battle system and no dumb alien overlord shit.

Danganronpa
>Community is not only inactive but some are horrible
I was a fool to think that drg wouldn't head down the same path as any general. Never again.
Atleast i still have my small group of co-op buddies i met on Destiny general before it went to hell.

5's story was awful, I just want chronicles of the sword again. Are there any games that let you customize ALL of your units and capture bases?

I had it on an emulator on my phone and never got into it, I assume it's worth going back to? Infinite space that is.

>ever oasis
Good taste, I enjoyed the demo and was planning to get that soon.
Eh, as far as I know SaGa fans generally regard it as an inferior game in most regards. It doesn't have the same feel apparently, although I can't verify this as I have not played SaGa much.
Be aware that the story is obtuse and not really prominent in the gameplay, and many areas are optional.

same.

Wanna know. The OST is fucking insane, though.

>SaGa II
>on ps1
Probably SaGa Frontier 2 then, which is composed by Masashi Hamauzu like tLoL is and they both share a similar artstyle, so in those aspects they're definitely similar

Plot-wise not as much, Legacy is more like the OTHER SaGas in its nonlinear presentation, where Frontier 2 is one of the rare ones that actually has a consistent story
But of course the battle system is definitely cut from the same mold, if dumbed down in a couple ways and altogether different in others

Obtuse stories are fine there are always other qualities that can tie a game together. Definitely looking forward to trying out a new game. I am really enjoying ever oasis it's not a tough game and is pretty linear but I really enjoy leveling up the town and just grinding out mats. It's got a cute artstyle and ost and I am always down for cute shit.

say that shit in my neighborhood see what happens

He was telling me that SaGa II had the best story or it tied it together really well or something. The combat looked awesome though. I like that there was such a huge party and the ability to get so many different party members.

I want to play that more, but it feels like everything just takes forever.

It's pretty niche, I'll fully admit that it fits the OP's criteria to a T and I am the lone english fan of it that I am aware of, aside from whoever made the 12 page wiki. And if huge parties is what you want, it might not be the most appealing (3 unit parties with 7 or so possible party members).
I do hope you enjoy trying it out, but I don't want to mislead you on it.

Yeah, if you can put up with the mediocre combat, it's definitely worth playing. Near the end of the first arc is when shit starts getting great.

Mila is the real cute

Definitely gonna have to try it out. Thanks for all the info about it. Hopefully we get some sort of translation for AA.

Oh, it could've been Frontier 1 then actually, because that's the one where you can have 3 parties of 5 at the same time and switch between them per battle- 2's party size caps at 4 so you don't have as many simultaneously, but it has a generational storyline and there are a fuckton of playable characters overall

Then again, yeah, nobody in their right mind would ever say Frontier 1 "ties together" because the final scenario, meant to do exactly that, was canned in development and the game is left unfinished, with only a fanbook to detail what should've been
2 has a bunch of consistent plot threads that all converge at the end, involving both a king and a family plagued by a living artifact devoted to fucking them over, and it's pretty neat from a storytelling perspective
And MAN does it look pretty for its time

Aye, thanks for listening user, it's always a pleasure to find someone who will.

Yea man that art style was fucking amazing. I remember thinking it looked really good. Kinda reminds me of Legend of Mana.

Child of light. It doesn't even get mentioned in indie threads because >ubisoft

Loved this game. We need more space pirate rpgs in general.

Speaking of which, recommend me some space pirate rpgs

Why don't you like the gameplay?
It's like RE4 improved in every possible way

If it didn't have those people, it would look like a scene from a scenery book.
Very pretty.

Spectrobes
I enjoyed the Wii one a lot.

Suda 51's The Silver Case

It's even getting a remade sequel that never officially came out and literally no one cares for some reason despite it being one of the best game announcements this year.

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life as a King

I always meant to play DS Custom Robo.

I always confuse this with Abadox because I'm retarded

holy christ someone else played this sweet jesus balls I love you

>want to discuss a game with Sup Forums
>its a small game or an indie game meaning that people will come to the thread and scream "SHILL!!!!!!!!" endlessly

we are friends now

>any strategy games
;-;

What a dumb name

exactly what a butthurt shill would say.

That's a pretty common response out of the ones it gets.
It's meant to refer to the legends of the game surrounding the ruins (the legacy) of the old kingdom that controlled the elementals. The man ruling Initium says it at one point but I don't remember the exact context.

Hello hollowknightshill.

EDF 4.1 except it's also good.
It's just niche.

I don't do RTS, other than that, pick your poison.

What did she say Sup Forums?

...

They decided to introduce >get hit while moving get counter hit and >parry now cost meter

Reminder that Kotoko likes it rough.
