God Hand, ICO, Persona 5 and Breath of the Wild are some of the finest games ever made. With God Hand and Persona 5 being in my top 10.

The Last Guardian was ok but not worth the wait and I've never played Yakuza.

Why would I wait for the remake when I can play the original?

ico and shadow of the collusus are garbage. same with the last guardian, everything by that developer sucks. zelda and persona 5 are also trash. best games there are god hand (but takes a serious investment to fully enjoy) and yakuza 0.

Breath of the Wild. That game is the best game to come out in the 21st century, and is easily the most polished and full game I've ever played.

I've started all of these, just bad about not finishing them. I have several other games in my backlog, but these are just the ones I picked out that I want to finish this year.

I used to feel this way, but even I was never stupid enough to buy things on release date.

Then I figured out that new games are generally trash and I've had much more fun playing PS2 jrpgs, even games I've never played as a kid, they're all self-contained, have no DLC and don't age like milk after 3 months because people stopped making stupid memes in the post-release hype.

Really enjoyable at times, but I always found myself much more invested and interested in one storyline after the other. When the first story builds up to something really interesting you get dumped with the second and the pacing goes out the window a bit. This finishes on a high basically.

I hope you're the Y0 user, that's why I'm invested in replying. You reminded me of someone I knew, and I felt nostalgic.
It was hard to read as a joke and I simply thought it was a casual statement rather than a joke. Those kinda jokes are hard to translate over text, and easier but still difficult face to face. Even worse if you have to explain it afterwards. It's better than a reaction image though.

i am slightly biased due to being a yakuza fan from before but when you get so invested that you spend half a month getting the platinum and don't even consider the time passing it's a great, GREAT game.
