Calling all Snow Pirates on E.D.N. III. I have a warning of utmost urgency
I just bought this game yesterday. Are there still people playing campaign online?
I got back into playing recently and I was genuinely surprised to see people still playing campaign online. So, yeah.
Crazy that a 7 year old game is still (barely) alive.
Thats great. I should start it this weekend. I really liked the first one.
If you're jumping into it thinking it's going to be about survival and stuff, you're think different about it. The devs literally went "fuck it" and just slapped a huge ton of ridiculous and over-the-top shit that made the campaign really fucking rad. It's more about fun, especially when you're co-oping.
LP2 Co-op was one of the best online gaming experiences I've ever had. It pisses me off to no end that the PC version died with GFWL
>tfw Capcom re-releases LP2 with proper servers onto modern hardware and current gen consoles
Next to W101, did Lost Planet 2 have one of the most hype and CUHRAZIEST endings in video games?
I'm not letting this thread die like its fanbase.
It's too bad these guys only showed up once, they were pretty cool
I guess it is.
They were fun to fight against. They're especially good for farming mystery boxes.
Carpetbaggers were the coolest looking snow pirates.
>tfw bought LP1 instead of 2 during the steam sale
I like it but I feel like I should've gotten 2 as well.
They're pretty different games, though. One is about survival, the other is about doing the craziest shit. And it's better with other people.
Who is your favorite Piratefu?
I'm inclined to disagree. Mostly because Vagabundos are a perfect tell at how rapidly Snow Pirates adapt.
That is true. And accents, apparently.
WHAT ARE DOOOOOOOEEEENG?! DEHSTROY DAH CANNON
I only completed the game on easy, starting normal soon. The slot machine likes to give me only emotes and noms. But I want new weapons. Whats the easiest/quickest way to farm them for while?
They also had a pretty cool (and hilarious) opening segment.
Episode 3 Chapter 2 is my personal best way of farming for mystery boxes.
>the dark snow level that comes after re-entry
The strangest thing about LP 2 is the incredibly random QuickTime events that happen like 2 times the entire campaign that are almost a guaranteed failure. Figuring out the train with friends is still one of the top coop moments of all time.
>traveling by yourself, trying to regroup with your squad
>no signal for the map
>ambushed by several Akrid
>can barely see walking figures in the distance that resembles your teammates
They fucking nailed the final moments, man.
>TURRRRN IIIIIIT!
GFWL isn't dead and the PC version still works perfectly well. There are people playing to this day
I hope they get a chance to at least re-release it with proper servers.
What do you mean by proper servers? The networking is great to this day. I don't think we'll see Capcom giving it any more love given how the leaderboards were hacked about 2 weeks after release and never fixed despite the huge community backlash
Gotta be the desert raider with the cape and underboob.
...
It's a little shoddy in some places. A lot of people were complaining about GFWL, especially on this board.
You've got good taste. But what about Jungle Pirate and her bouncy breasts?
I certainly hope everyone can agree on the diving gear being the best Snow Pirate look.
They're all pretty great, honest. All of them appeal to almost every man's fetish.
Patrician taste. Her and the snow pirate ones are the best.
There's it nearly enough fan art of the Femme Fatale and it's a fucking shame.
The series in general gets fuck all for fan art, it's kinda sad. Also I just checked and the other one I was thinking about is waysider, not snow pirate. Haven't played this shit in ages so the names are escaping me. Should probably give it a go when I have some free time.
This is a good one. But the NEVEC one always gets me hard. Especially when you see her in the skin-tight pants that show her ass.
Mah nigga. Waysider has the best outfits. Leggings are either short shorts, full cover of the skin-tight suit, or stockings. Torso could be full suit, suit with open area for cleavage and chest, or suit with open area for midriff and stomach. Seriously, best piratefu.
Yeah, grind this mission over and over to level your faction quick, and the one with the enormous spider thing chasing you on the big transport
Holy shit, out of the dozens of hours I put into this game... do the femme fatale have different bodies? I swear, I just noticed how the Nevec female has wide hips and a flatter chest, compared to the Carpetbagger with no hips and large breasts.
All have their charm points, but I'll have to go with waysiders, because skintight bodysuits.
NEVEC has some good suits. Especially since it shows her ass very nicely.
Of course. Carpetbagger has best legs, Sandraider and Jungle Pirate have best chest, and Waysider has the best figure and physique (and best abdomen).
Waysiders for best body pieces male and female, then a Carpetbagger or Nevec helm once you've maxed them
...
...
VAGABUNDOS!
HEY HEY TREASURE BORRACHOS
...
...
This wasn't a good game. Only the first one was.
...
I have a soft spot for the basic Ex-NEVEC gear.
So fucking hype
Classic nevec stuff looks much better than the newer ones. Their helmets are way too wide and bulky for my taste.
WE'RE TAKING EEEEEET!!!
LOOKEET ALL DIS TREEESUH
>the higher rank you are in NEVEC, the bigger your helmet
>all the top ranks have neck and spinal problems
Anyone want to run through the campaign?
I'm wondering which faction I should level to 99 first. Does some of them have really good unlock rewards?
I really like to use this Helghast scout skin, looks really nice.
