You know, you could probably make the first ability a 100% chance to gain FAST on evasion and it'd still be balanced.
I mean think about it, you're giving up 4 stat points for that. Dodges are already uncommon and winning at least four 50% rolls in one match isn't good odds, which you'd have to do to even equal the stat points you're giving up for the ability.

I was thinking more along the lines of rewarding it to Sup Forumsermins who jobbed too hard, and lost while also potentially not using the abilities that they had, like webm related. Example of 'mins who would get this 'reward' would be Tointelligent, Killjill, Action Grasshopper 3, Don-Don and Wargraav.

I usually start with some fragment of an idea or multiple ideas based on things I like and make them one thing.
e.g I like cephalopods and glitch art so I hamdfistedly mash those together to make something

I think of something I like and a terrible pun name for it, then just draw something until the magic happens and there's a vermin.

generally i combine a normal object with some living creature, like an aircraft carrier with flies instead of planes. alternatively, it'll be some inanimate object with character given to it, like a meteor that gets gradually more pissed off the closer it gets to impacting
I think of a good trait or theme.
