I've actually played this game for a while, so I'll just shorthand its features.

i like dayz and still play it, but one thing i will say is that there isnt a real long term reason to work together with other players. theres not much reason to work with people other than to have someone (who you may or may not trust) watch your back. The game starts to feel shallow and thats why most just turn to banditry. You have many more reasons to be afraid of people and not interact with anyone outside of shooting them

but they need meaningful crafting and base building, i consider that the main problem with the game.

How is it possible to have this many reviews and still be at 91%? It cant be THAT good. Unless it really its like todays Ruincraft where the entire audience is a million autistic children.

A fleshed out skill tree system and reasons to work with other people in the form of bases instead of being a cunt that just kills everybody. The gunplay also has some depth to it with each gun feeling unique and with bullet drop instead of having everything be fucking hitscan.

Unturned was the poster child of what early access is supposed to be like kind of like Subnautica. It had constant updates and constantly got better it has a very large amount of features for a game made by a single person and it's free. It's probably one of the best survival games out right now for what that's worth

-Game works and is nearly glitch free.
-Free alternative to Rust/Ark/DayZ that runs better than they do.
-All done by one guy successfully where basically every other game like it failed.
-Can support it by buying cosmetics, no P2W.

You can get shit from NPC traders if you don't shoot at players first. There's a moral bar that has different ranks and if it's low enough they won't sell you anything. Shoot them after and you go up.
