TWEWY Thread

Just bought this again since I lost my old copy. This is WAY harder than I remember it being. Top screen combat feels like it could be a game by itself. Is there a trick to playing both screens effectively or what?

should I give the game another go with both halves? I've played it multiple times but only ever used bottom.

What I've been doing is mashing the d-pad at the start while focusing on Neku's screen. Then when all his pins get drained, I spam the dash while focusing on the top screen and getting fusion stars.
It seems to work now, but I'm only on day 4 with Shiki, so everything is easy-mode.

Just focus on whatever character has the puck at any given moment. If you can keep a combo going it makes battles way easier than trying to split your time between the 2.

It is. Why would I wanna play the casualized mobile version that has one screen and a less precise control scheme.

Because it looks and sounds better, which are more important than gameplay in a game like TWEWY. TWEWY is about story.

Plus didn't the music get changed, or something similar? I loved the tracks that the DS version had.

This game is the most overrated piece of trash the DS has to offer.

Not bait. DS is one of my favourite condones and I played TWEWY on my R4i after having it recommended to me by a number of people. I played it for 3-4 hours, and I found virtually everything about it too be unbearable. I wanted to like it, I really did, but I just cannot understand why so many people thought/think it was a great (or even good) game.

Finding out that Shiki was in Eri's body. Rhyme being oneshot. Beat becoming a reaper. Finding out Joshua killed Neku and is the big boss
