You either enjoy the notion of setting up a farm and simple interactions with the village folks from get go within first several tens of minutes, or you don't.

I bought the first story of seasons and I found it extremely boring. Annoying looping music and frame drops. Never played any Harvest Moons. Played some Rune Factory and I found it pretty good. However, I'm looking for something with less combat.
