Over 100 games in steam library

>over 100 games in steam library
>dont want to play any of them
what happened?

Half of those games are probably shit.
Other half you played to death.

either shit taste or you're jaded, go find something else to do or force yourself to play some of them, if you have low expectations you might find some enjoyement.

you turned 30

You can't decide on what to play.
Just pick a game and play it.

>over 100 books in library
>don't want to read any of them
>over 100 movies in library
>don't want to watch any of them
>over 100 shows on netflix
>don't want to watch any of them
>over 100 board games on shelves
>don't want to play any of them
You'd be a depressed sack of shit no matter what hobby you had.

Dunno. Maybe you should buy a console and stop being an idiot.

Take a break and do something else. Everyone gets fatigued after a while, especially if the last games you played cant compare with what you currently own.

It's not that you don't want to PLAY any of them, you just don't want to START any of them.
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. broke that chain for me, try it out.
At least you're not stuck in the horrible loop of "I want to beat this game 100% and won't play another game until I'm done". Fuck you Enter the Gungeon.

more like 70% unplayed

Pleb.

Playing Persona 5,Nier Automata, and Yakuza 0 one after another did that.

>le 1000 yo dragon loli
why is Sup Forums such trash?

>Fell for the steam meme

MIGRATE

checked, I am trying to get through DOOM but I almost have to force myself to play one level a day
it is a good game and I have fun while playing, I just dont get it

D44M is chewy like that though. The levels are so long at times that it feels like watching a movie. Just take your time with it and have a beer or something afterwards.
If you play the game a second time, the levels just breeze on by since you don't have to take all that time searching for secrets.

What would you rather do, spend your entire day on Sup Forums (again) or play some video games?
Just pick a game fag. Play it right the fuck now, and even if you feel like turning it off, don't. To help you with this choice, I will recommend a slower game such as a JRPG since they don't get tiring as quickly.

That's even worse.

Holy shit man spoiler that shit

Quads of truth

This was oddly inspiring.

It's depression. Maybe you don't even realize it. You subconsciously know that you're wasting your life away. You know you're playing hours and hours of game and you're not getting any younger. Maybe you think that if you spent even half this time towards something productive you could actually have a decent job/degree/skillset. But you don't. You just keep playing games while time ticks away.

Now you're too anxious or fatigued to play more games because you know that time wasted will fly by once again. So you just sit there doing nothing because you want to preserve what time you have left... by doing nothing.

Find 1 (one) game that you really, really like and play the shit out of it. Don't play multiple games at once, that's how you'll get disinterested.

Too much of a good thing is too much of a good thing.

This. If you eat your favorite food everyday, you'll eventually get sick of it.

IT BEEN A LONG TIME COMING BUT IT FINALLY CAME

Do what I do. Write down the Steam games you've never played or never beat on a piece of paper or document, and number each one. Then go to a random number generator site and put the two numbers as 1 and the last number of wherever your list is. Click "random number" and then play that game, or get three numbers and pick one.

you grew up. time to move on to anime

>played 600+ hours of EU4
>often get strong urge to play again
>open game and get to nation select screen
>interest immediately evaporates
>close game
why...

You need to play a genre you've never played before.

...

>over 700 games on steam
>don't want to play any of them
>still keep buying new ones
>bought a vita
>games are fun again
PC gaming is the problem

You were looking for meaning in them in the beginning.
Now you're starting to realize the glimpses you found in the early days was all there was. only glimpses of meaning.

You were probably dumb enough to fall for Valve's marketing strategy. Buying games "on sale" even though you don't play them like most PCfats.

I'm just forcing myself to go through all my Steam games, I'm noy buying anything unless I finish all these games. It feels like a fucking slog but at least I'm making progress.
damn, the anime industry is saved......

>Only buy a few games that I'll play through regularly
>Pirate to try them out first or buy and refund
>No problems with having a huge library of shitty games bought on sales
Feels good.

aw shit is this another dragon maid thread in disguise

>over 100 games in steam library
>can finally play them now that SGDQ is over

I'm about to smash this backlog

>100

I'm a consolecuck and have 222 games installed right now.

You know that you can play games while watching SGDQ right?

If you've got more than one screen, yeah. I was stuck with handhelds

Use your phone to watch it?
