Tfw you got soul but you're not a soldier

>tfw you got soul but you're not a soldier

What if they gave soldier a jetpack and increased his clip to 6 while still doing splash damage?

Pharra barely does splash damage.

And what if we let him reload all 6 rockets instantly, and gave him unlimited reserve ammo, and a girlfriend that could follow him around in the air and increased his damage on top of healing him?

>tfw you're heavy but not The Heavy

And put all of that in the shittiest popular game besides league of legends?

Way back in the day when McCree was the most powerful offensive hero and could end your existence simply because you were in line of sight with him, Pharah's rockets were actually closer to the Soldier in terms of how they splashed and bounced characters.

Now she barely bounces them and has fuck all for splash, but it lets you hit follow ups more reliably.

We basically went from Stock Launcher to Direct Hit.

>tfw you're a demo but not the Demo

Would female mercs go over well? Ignoring issues like hitbox disparity, etc.

...

Have you ever bought a map stamp? I got one for pic related.

>TFC pyro
Would be irrelevant desu senpai, they just need to be written well.

I totally forgot map stamps were even a thing. Is there a point besides fancy hats?

I can't think of a single change that would be a bigger fucking waste of time, they'd either need to make a shitload of new cosmetics or fit all the old ones on to the female models. If you want your waifu mercs just use a fucking mod.

Their main purpose is just to support the map creator if you appreciate their work. pl_frontier is GOAT in my eyes.

Bought stamps for steel, harvest, suijin, moonshine and watergate.

>liking moonshine

The event version is eh, whatever, but I had good times on the regular version.

I also got a stamp for pit of death.

>keys hit 30 ref recently
This game going F2P was a mistake, I remember keys costing 2.33 ref and it wasn't unfeasible to save up for something you wanted and buy it with scrap.

Refined metal inflation was an inevitability user, although the trader elite circle deliberately accelerated the process.

>Moonshine
>HYUCK HYUCK I FUKT MAH KUZIN WIF MA SHIATGAN

I bought it for Steel because I genuinely think it's the best map in TF2.

>tfw you're not The Heavy Weapons Guy

mother fucking spreadsheet or whatever it was called started all this shit with that one corrupt admin

>the trading market would still be healthy if it wasnt for all these shitters only buying / selling at whatever meme price the latest meme spreadsheet is listed at

I need to just walk around that map for 30 minutes in an empty server to understand how you actually navigate it, it always feels cramped to me.

>It's a "sentries on sawmill" episode

>Signs pointing where each control point is on every wall
user...

What if Pyro could airblast jump?

>Open crate
>Find killstreak kit, or something along those lines, for the Direct Hit
What's this crap? I don't remember it existing before.

Detonator jump is good enough.

Killstreak kits came out with the Two Cities update for MvM, ie the last time Valve cared about MvM. Is it specialized or professional?

No, it's shit and accomplishes nothing

When a sentry makes you die
Is there room for one more Spy?
One more Spy

>it's a full moon
>mfw have to endure all the furry medics and bronies showing their colors

Snakewater a best.

It says "specialized".

>full moon
HEAVY IS PRETTY PRINCESS

That's not as good as a professional one, but it is for a good weapon. It basically makes your weapon shine a pretty color when you go on a killstreak. If you want to sell it, community market is your best bet but you won't make the key back. If you want to use it yourself, you'll have to buy all those little parts it requests in the recipe and then use it on a direct hit (it can be a strange/collector version if you want).

There's literally nothing wrong with keys being worth that much metal.

You can buy a shitload of hats + all weapons with just $2.50, it's great

HEAVY IS A SPY
IN NOBODY'S EYES BUT MINE

I see, thank you. It doesn't sound too bad but I dn't like the Direct Hit that much, I prefer the stock rocket launcher.
I guess I'll sell it in the market, at least I can get some cents back.

I bought one for Turbine

You may want to look at the prices they're selling at and see if it's worth making the specialized direct hit anyway and just selling that, may be too much effort though.

>Check the prices
>Specialized kit goes for something like 1.30 dollars
>Specialized Direct Hit goes for the same exact prize, no matter if strange or normal
I guess I won't bother making the thing, I'll just sell it away.

Probably the only non-trash CTF map.

Did those chemistry sets just stop being available years ago or are they still a rare drop? I got a strange heavy lifter set way back when, now it's apparently worth 7 dollars.

>I Got Pie, But I'm Not a Pyro

Airblast rockets at the right time and angle?

>Do this at full health
>land with maybe 50 hp counting fall damage

>do this
>rocket does mini crit dmg to you
>ded by a stray shotgun pellet

>It is a full moon. I have turned into a robot again. AWOOO

NIGGETS!

I made a shitty imitation of this outfit for my Halloween costume years ago, nobody even knew it was vidya.

>tfw used to listen to Hot Fuss and Sam's Town all the time playing TF2 8 years ago

Aka. Medic

>YOUR ASS IS GRASS AND I AM THE GRASS MAN

Yea that's the only one I bought too.

Why do people say demo is a easy class when its using his weapons effectively requires great aim or thinking?

He simultaneously has one of the lowest skill floors yet the highest skill ceiling other than sniper.

Already a thing

is he going to shave my ass

>all my favorite maps are valve maps
>almost hate every community map

Might get one for Borneo

I guess you are right about that, making a simple trap and spamming pills can be used to great effect if its just to keep people from moving freely, but actually killing someone in a 1v1 is pretty hard given hitting his shots consistently is pretty hard. I dont really agree on sniper though, in the end its all about making head shot so his skill floor is actually higher then demo even though I think snipers are pieces of shit the game would be better of without

Because you can aim in the general direction of a team and blow them up

Tomorrow's the night!

In my dreams.

>still no bison fix
>pl_cashworks is still not official

I only meant sniper's skill ceiling is higher in my post, though his skill floor is higher too. I never play as him outside of MvM though.

You could say the same about basicly every class but the difference would be that they would do it with bullets, besides soldier but he doesnt have to compensate for an arc. I would even say that sticky jumping has a higher skill cap then rocket jumping.

Love that song, thank you for reminding me of it

>sprays have been disabled for years on valve servers
>sv_pure 1 has been forced for years on valve servers

Both of these will haunt me forever. I will never not be mad. Fuck Valve.

>team composition is shit
>feel obliged to play soldier

valve gives up on every new feature within months

Is there any other class besides demo and soldier that you can allways have more of? Your doing the right thing buddy.

Not even Demo fits that idea as well as Soldier. Too many Demos are easily shit on. Too many Soldiers is an oxymoron.

That's TF2 in general. Characters are fairly straightforward in function and threshold for effectiveness, but high level play is basically a completely different game.

Its hard to hit the cap on demo's though, there would need to be like 4 of them and the enemy team would a surplus of classes that "counter" demo

Except for heavy and pyro, hence meat your match.

That's not true user it takes away a portion of your health while being shit

Pyro does have a pretty high skill ceiling though, he just doesn't offer much when you get there.

Puff n sting was not that hard, reflects can be mastered in a couple hours of dodgeball.

>Tf2 on release
>Best classes are Scout, Soldier and Demo

>Tf2 in 2017
>Play anywhere on any server, people ask that you change to a Scout, Soldier or Demo

So much for "balance". Competitive, er, "competitive" is boring and ruined everything for everyone. I dunno how comp players are fine with doing the same thing over and over with no difference in strategy or class composition.

>you live in a timeline where the bronies and furries won instead of Heavy

Thats not really true, Pyro is most effectively played by swapping weapons a lot, ambusing and airblasting (wich requires good timing).
As for heavy, you can defenitly notice the difference between a heavy who knows what he is doing and who doesnt know what he is doing, knowing when to spin and how long is a tricky thing to master.

>it's a "snipers on 2fort" episode

Those two things are still much simpler than basically what every other class is capable of at high level, and like said even a good pyro is only so useful.

The problem with competitive is that the teams are to small and making class restrictions makes some classes way better then others. In my opinion comp should be 9v9 with no restrictions. In generals scout medic soldier and demon would be the best but with a 9v9 roster some classes would be amazing picks in niece situations like engies on maps with low supplies and great sentry spots. Heavy's on a last stand or a final push, pyro's to counter a surplus of other classes such as spy soldier and demo. Sniper to make picks on open maps en Spy to make pics on not so opens maps plus countering engie.

Reflects are harder than what soldier has to do, reflect jumping is hard as fuck, long range flares take a lot of skill, flare and reflect airshots are hard to do too.
Pyro can do a lot of difficult things that don't pay off all that much

what's the worst map and why is it dustbowl?

Highlander always felt like a better exemplification of what the game is all about, but I think Valve either listened to B4nny way too much on everything related to comp or they reasoned that it was not realistic for 18 people to stay in a match together without any people leaving and with everyone getting to play as the class they want to.

>The payload has almost reached the final terminus!

>The sentry nests
I cant ever hate dustbowl I just love the chaos of a 16v16 server, trying to push through or defend.

2fort is worse by the virtue of being the worst game mode combined with worst map design

I really dislike ctf in general and those 5cp maps with excessive empty space like Well or Granary. And dustbowl is pretty shit too, yeah.

I can still see sprays, did you enable them?

I think not having a class limit would solve that. Or maybe it wouldnt, but you just cant fix people being dicks and I dont think devs should try to fix that.

The fact that rocket jumping exists still makes soldier have a higher ceiling in my eyes because he has the gunboats and can do more than just one jump before he fucking craters. Yes it is easy to be floor shootyman but he also can pull off those gunshot bride triple airshot moments that just aren't possible as pyro unless someone is feeding him rockets. In fact, much of pyro's usefulness is removed simply by the enemy soldiers deciding to stop shooting at him.
You can see your own but nobody elses' on valve servers.

No demo can unleash like 110 splash damage in an instant and fire it rapidly with like 8 shots.

Stickies >rockets> pills

I bought a Harvest one many years ago, but that's about it.
