King

Feng

Dragunov and king

Heihachi. He is the only reason why I'm still playing this shitty anime fighting game.

Anyone who's been exposed to more technical, more dynamic fighting games will quickly pass on tekken. Other top fighters, namely Street Fighter, KoF and MK/Injustice have advanced impressively in their latest installments; but the relic that is tekken just can't seem to evolve, furthermore many combos can be done simply by hitting 1-button, and the nearly "instant-kill" rage art moves are just laughably broken. Instead of a supplying a proper fighting engine, matches in T7 seem to rely heavily on "who can get their rage move off first". So many elements of the gameplay don't even require any sort of skill. In my book, slow motion over and over again also gets old very quickly. And in the end, it's more of a novelty or gimmick rather than an actual, thought-out fighting game mechanic. But hey, the casual crowd will be pleased!

If you want something a little more "button-masher-friendly," tekken might be your cup of tea.... Key word, might.

I wonder if the creator of this copypasta was serious.

Miguel style is hella cool even though I dislike the character

Lee chaolan.

I mean cam ouwn.

Kazumi

Seconded.

Also: Miguel and Bryan because they are reckless as fuck.

Shit game with a low skill ceiling and no depth or complexity.

RUCKY CUROEE DAYO

Feng Wei

mash trash

Probably Raven because she has teleports and stuff.

Feng

>no depth or complexity.
lol

>no depth or complexity.
correct

Eddy

What's your online rank?

Unironically Lucky Chloe

The bears

This

Kazumi and dat milf karate.

Is there even any point to learning her? There's no way she's coming back in Tekken 8 right?

I was attracted to playing her because short movelist but it quickly became a problem when I HAVE NO FUCKING LOWS

Leo

They spent way too much effort on her to let it be wasted, expect her to be in Tekken 8 but as a younger descendant clone (probably without the tiger since it is Kazumi's thing)

This, tekken is a casual game aimed at button mashers it has no depth or complexity

Fuck that then, the tiger's the only reason I like her.

Why the FUCK would I play casual baby shit like tekken?

This, then when I mention it everyone jumps on my ass saying how you don't need good lows and Kazuya and Heihachi are top tier with only one low, etc etc. Whatever.

Jin

What do you play then?

Street fighter V.

Games that arent casual baby garbage

Lee.
Hitman stance is best stance with Savage stance in second place.

Which characters are chickenable? Should be an easy question for you

Holy fuck that Hagrid video blew my fucking mind. I had no idea you can even chicken a character before.

...

What's chicken?

reversal break

>kekken so devoid of depth or complexity tekkucks think teching is a complex mechanic
LMAO, cant make this shit up

I personally like palying Hwoarang the most, because he feels like a glass-cannon.

Stylewise Master Raven or Leo I'd say.

Don't lie you fuck you just like playing Hwoarang because you love mashing kicks.

Lee chaolan. Loved this dude since tekken 1.

The Michima characters also have cool moves like hell sweep into electrics.

And your just upset because your regularly losing to mashing scrubs.

Chicken is not a teching, it is reversing a tech.

And from the females, I'd say lucky chloe is a fun meme character hut REALLY cool is none of them desu.

Chicken is literally teching a reversal/counter you stupid fucking retard, learn your own shitty game.

>tfw you finally got out of blue shitter ranks
Time to get stuck in slighty less shitter greens

How do you do it tho?

I can't even play Kazumi now that Harada removed black from the game. I had the most stylin kimono for her that is now ruined. It hurts to even look at her now, knowing what I'm missing out on.

Buffer an input since you will never be able to do it from reaction. Basically anticipate that they will reverse something and buffer the chicken input during the animation.

devil jin cuz wings and lasers, oh why not, all other answers are wrong except kuma/panda

>Autism Speaks

I wake up thankful I'm not this stupid.

>you will never be able to do it from reaction
tekkucks are literally this shit at fighting games

Drag.

No one does it from reaction, not the pros and certainly not you.

There it is again, that delusion that people play fighting games on reaction.

Is Tekken best played with a stick or a controller?

doesn't matter, even on korean level

It's really down to preference.
You can be successful with both, so unless you play more fighting games than Tekken, it's probably not worth investing money on a stick.

How do you dash fast on a pad? How do you even do a korean backdash on a pad? I need breathing room here.

the Chinese bitch

People will say both are fine but you really need the stick if you want to nail all the diagonal inputs 100% of the time. PS4 is fine but can still be finicky and Xbone forget about it, the dpad is so stiff it's pure luck if the diagonal reads correctly.

>if you want to nail all the diagonal inputs 100% of the time
If you want to nail all the diagonal inputs 100% of the time you need a hitbox, it's not so easy hitting perfect diogonal on stick even with square gate.

Bryan and Miguel have this really cool carelessness to their fighting style. Makes me want to learn them

>KO
>f+1+2
>opponent is tilted for the rest of the match

Well 95% of the time then. It's still a lot more reliable than a dpad. I got my first stick last month and can get eliza's dark wave 10/10 times. I went back to pad and it took 7 tries to get it to come out right on average. Totally worth the money for me.

*f+3+4

Dragunov for his brutal efficiency

...

...

Paul Phoenix, just for his death fist

HOOOARRGH

She seems so cool, I just wish I could into her backstances

Slowmo is the coolest shit that they added into the game. Hype as fuck 90% of time.

I did until I learned to block and wait for the eventual low and launch punishing scrub hwoarangs so hard they disconnect.

It's very good on the keyboard if that's your thing.

>Bryan
>reckless

What? He's fighting using Kickboxing unlike Miguel who seriously has no fighting style

Although there is something addictively satisfying about landing a EWGF or wave-dashing to close in and punish

Miguel fights in a manner more suited for cutscene Bryran. Going from pure fighting style alone Miguel looks to have much more raw power than Bryan.

Guys, I like T7 but should I go back and get T5 for PS2 since it comes with all the original arcade versions of 1-3? The only problem is my stick is not PS2 compatible so unless I can emu it from the disc and play on PC I don't know how fun it'll be.

My nigga

>sparring with friend and realize drag' s snake edge chain hits him every time.
>tell him that it's reactable but he says it's impossible.
>spend the next 9 rounds doing nothing but that chain and jabs.
>he finally has it down and never gets hit by it, even if I haven't done it in hours.
Reminder to hammer in the defensive training on tricky strings and if you get 10-hit combo'ed it's all on you.

alisa my main.

hwoarang's not the blind masher he once was with all his stance stuff. That crown has been taken by Katarina.

If you are going to emulate it, why not just download the iso? Harada won't get anything from your purchase anyway.

Katarina is very limited, straight forward and easily punished tho. With hwo there is atleast the slight chance of the mashers accidentally doing a delay or low mixup.

>it's not so easy hitting perfect diogonal on stick even with square gate.

What? It's dead easy to hit diagonal on stick every time with a bit of practice and use.

>launch punishing scrub hwoarangs so hard they disconnect.
Apparently not hard enough, as your still mad.

>unlike Miguel who seriously has no fighting style

He's a savateur. A very sloppy and brutal savateur, but he can get away with it because he's so big.

>mad
Nah just trying to understand what is the fun in playing like that? What do you learn after a match? And if you play ranked you'll just be stuck floating around the light blue/silver ranks forever.

Miguel

Sorry to disappoint, but I already left those ranks a few weeks back.
Whats the fun in playing a fast fluid character with a lot of offensive options while sacrificing defence? Well exactly that.

Didn't he always had his stances?

Would you guys like it better of Hwoarang was replaced by Baek aka. "the Fakeout King"?

>Whats the fun in playing a fast fluid character with a lot of offensive options while sacrificing defence?

Sure if you are actually using those options and playing smart. My issue is with the hwos who mash kicks without even knowing how his stances work.
