Redpill me on this game
Redpill me on this game
It's Castlevania but now when you move instead of going doot doot doot you go whooooooooooooooosh
Basically you got the old NES fans that prefer the doot doot doot and the post-SotN fans that prefer whoooooooooosh
Its the Fallout 3 of castlevania
This guy.
This guy gets it.
Pretty accurate
it's the mont Saint-Michel on the cover
Most of the enemies are sprite rips from Rondo of Blood.
It's a game about love and stuff. Really mushy stuff for girls.
I wouldn't recommend it.
...
It seemed really weird that this scene was hidden away where it was.
There are rondo enemies (along with touched up Castlevania 4 enemies) but I don't think they make up the majority.
good game play it
Well, if you're exploring you'll find it. You also have to find it to get to the inverted castle.
>doot
Girls are gross!

this is all you need to know
Is the PC version the definitive version? I already have Zsnes set up, so it would be very easy to play this game on there.
Just equip a shield and spam △ + ○ for moving and a shield rod + Iron Shield and press + ○ for bosses and win
what the fuck
The PSX voice acting is better than PSP
this
it's a PS1/Saturn game
No shit
...
SotN was released neither on PC nor on SNES, wtf are you talking about.
Also stop using ZSNES.
Movement in the inverted castle is annoying as hell. So many jumps you just barely can't make with double jump. Super jump requires button combo, uses MP, and has a delay at the end. Bat form is slow and transforming to and back both have delays. Wing smash isn't that useful because it stops and turns you back into a human after it ends (after 1.5 screens).
They should have given more thought to movement in the inverted castle. Something like a jump height increase or triple jump would have been nice. Something like SM's space jump would be great.
actually, this is all you need to know
That sounds like an Arin Hanson argument.

sit down
I wish Robert voiced Alucard in the show
is a pile of secrets
Its the Dark Souls of Castlevania.
You run around a big maze-like castle and whack enemies, solve some puzzles to get more castle to run around in, beat some bosses to get more castle to run around in, discover new powers to get more castle to run around in.
It lives up better to the title Castlevania than the previous games in the series did to be honest.
It' only real competition is aria of sorrow.
Wouldn't it be significantly easier to make a game like sotn today than it was during the time of it's release?
If so, then why aren't we swimming in masterpieces with the recent indie boom?
the psp version is the best
if you like penis
>Robert
Who?
>Sounds have been changed for the worse
>Terrible voice acting compared to the original
>Sword Bros spell fixed so you actually have to farm for hours if you want a Duplicator
>Doesn't have the extra content from the Saturn version
That old dooting always pissed me off
Alucard is like a sports car after the Belmonts.
Robert Belgrade, smooth deep voiced Alucard
Is Michiru Yamane the only woman that actually made a change in gaming?
It was awesome they actually managed to get him to voice Alucard in Lecarde Chronicles 2.
is the less shitty of the three unless you like the mongoloid script of ps1 and read moon for Saturn
and the resident evil 4
Too bad she peaked right with that game. Her stuff is less good compared to SotN
How the hell is it a less shitty version? They almost all have the same content anyway except with a few differences like playable maria, but the voice acting has no soul
Die Monster you don't belong in This world
I'll take cheesy voice acting over Yuri Lowenthal
