he had good characterisation and a satisfying story arc in SR2 as a kind of generic tough guy dealing with generic gang drama which made him a fan favourite, volition ran this into the ground however and stripped him of the tiny shred of humanity they gave him in SR2 when they decided they wanted to be le whacky dildo game after SR2 and turned johnny back into a cartoon character

I finally got around to saints row 3, beat saints row 2 prior to this, and the campaign in 3 was disappointing. The gangs all work together and a good part of the campaign was doing activities as missions.

It started the Saints Row is so le wacky and randumb xD trend

What? If anything they spared him by killing him off right in the tutorial mission, which ironically enough was the best mission in the entire game.

Most Activates in SR2 was optional once you had done one activity to max you'd could generally do all missions easily, in 3 you had to do all activities to free all neighbourhoods.

It depends on how you interpret it. In 3, he was childish and that was part of his character. The Boss makes him piss himself, and in 4 he becomes much more mature. It was a refreshing characterization compared to everyone else

Oleg was killed off because he wouldn't have fit in the environments or gameplay of 4 without them spending a lot of time just on him. He was, by far, the best new character in 3, so it is a shame they had to leave him out of 4.

But 2 being like SA is a good thing, it's SA with better customization, shooting, and a better city(I don't like all the foresty shit in SA). No, and that is the thing that disappoints me. At the end of 2, you take over Ultor when they were at the peak of their research. In 3, with the over the top nature it has, they could've easily said that the Saint's Ultor is preparing a mission to Mars but someone is buying the company out to at least tie the two series together.

I'm not gonna pretend like cars were better in 2, because they weren't, but cars were never that important to me in SR
