Lets have a fun thread Sup Forums. Where do you rank? Note: This is for FINISHED games, Not games you've played, unfinished, dropped, or just own via physical or pirate but have not touched.

Show us your stats. Are you a Grandmaster Sup Forumsirgin?

Age: 23
Games: 801

Who the fuck keeps track of all the games they beat?

This.
I don't have autism to care enough.

I only play Cookie Clicker

Newfag, no shame in it. It's not about quantity but about mastery and playing the most rewarding games.

What the fuck is this bullshit? Nobody keeps a log of finished games. In case you do, you must be a miserable autistic little cunt. FUCK YOU OP, just kys asap

Dude I've been playing games since 7 and I'm 31 now.
I don't count them. It's fucking stupid.

/thread. I'd rather finish 50 amazing games than 1000 mediocre games. I don't keep track of this shit but I'm probably 100+ at this point.

Holy shit chill the fuck out anons. Can't we jsut have fuin like we used to instead of you all sperging? Jesus christ what happened to this place?

>It's not about quantity but about mastery and playing the most rewarding games.
This if I choose to beat 500 hour long indie walking sims I wouldn't consider that a "veteran gamer".

This thread is fucking stupid.

>Can't we jsut have fuin like we used to

I don't know. Can't you spell like you used to?

Fucking casuals

>Can't we jsut have fuin like we used to instead of you all sperging?
Why would you complain about people sperging out in this thread when OP himself is a sperg for keeping track of shit like this?

>801 games
How much of that is fucking shovelware and where do you find the time and money to play all of them.

>counting your games is somehow sperging
Why? because I know how to count?

if you must know:

>he even keeps the date

Good job, Retardo.

autist

I have no fucking idea how many games I've finished. I don't count them or anything. I finish a game, I go to the next one.

Seasoned I believe, but I have only been keeping track since I made a backlog 4 years ago and record about 200 since then. god knows how many games I beat as a kid

>keeping track of the games you finished
I stopped doing that when i was 7. Grow the fuck up OP.

Seasoned, this I know.

>keeping count
how to spot a gamer faggot

>because I know how to count?
No, because you actually care about shit like this and feel like you need to somehow validate your enjoyment for video games by keeping track of what you've played. The fact that you categorised it all by platform proves that you're an autist.

Ascended
Not counting how many games you've finished

It takes not even an hour to go throguh a cheklist and mark off things you've finished. The amount of laziness you choose to display is far more bothersome than my alleged "sperginess" which by the way, is not a word.

you're a fucking nerd

Dude I don't remember games I've finished 25 years ago. Fuck off.

>keeping count of the amount of video games you've played
>lying about the amount of video games you've played
spotted the underage

Bet you still can't beat me in Quake.

...

>Notepad
>no director column
Fucking casuals thia days.

This year? About 20.

During my whole life? For fuck sake... Who keeps record on that?

And how do I calssify MMOs or MOBAs?

I will say it is about 700 games.

>A nerd on a board made of nerds
Shocking. Shame I don't fit in.

>Lynig
Alright then. Let me post my chart and prove you wrong, as usual. its about 2700 tiers by the way.

Jesus christ I really barely finish games. Or plays games yoy don't really "beat"

Nigga i don't care if it takes one hour or a week to keep track of your finished games. The list serves no fucking porpuse whatsoever unless you are too stupid to remember if you finished a game or to show it to your friends on Sup Forums for autism points.
Keep on that list rolling, captain autismo.

Pretty sure I have over 100, but not sure about 300.

I had a very autistic phase of my life where I had to finish all the games I started, No Man Sky saved me though, I was just so bored with it that I couldnt push myself to reach the center of the galaxy.

Best thing ever, now I only finish the shit I enjoy

Oh shit nigga, where do i get that template? I would add stuff to it, it needs a director column.

My mind cannot comprehend the extent of your autism

My own design. Just made it in Excel about 7 years ago. Its pretty simple to replicate.

Literally autism incarnate.

Awesome, jsut means I['m doing the right thing then.

Aww, you're sweet.

Finishing games isnt a crime, its better than leaving them half finished unles you actually drop them outright because you're done with them, not because you didnt want to come back to them.

I used to do this when I was younger. I felt the need to finish every game I played and 100% it, not because I enjoyed it but because I felt like I had not gotten the complete experience until I had fully finished everything it had to offer. Then I turned 18 and realised that my time was too valuable to waste hours playing mediocre games. Now I just replay older games that I love, giving older games that I still haven't played a try and play a handful of new games that interest me.

Also the idea of "finishing" a game is vague anyway. What counts as "completing" a game? Watching the credits roll? Completing post-game? 100%ing the game? What about multiplayer-centric games that don't really have an end?

fpbp

Probably over 100 but I'm not autistic to record what games I have or haven't finished.

That's pretty impressive work, any reason you decided to go that far to record shit? I just mark it down in a word doc

I started to keep track recently, it's fun. Im trying to remember all the games i played my whole life to put on the list.

Jesus fucking christ dude.

I only play games without endings

I just like keeping track. Its something fun to do on my time inbetween work. Just pull up the spreadsheet, log some new titles, find newer things I'm ibnterested in/want to puruse, etc. Its biggest useage is being a handy recomendation list for friends who have interests in particular games.

Consider high score as an "Ending" then.

Hrm, true. I meant this mainly to circumvent and filter out all the people who pirate/download say 1000+ Steam games but only touch 3 of them.

Credit roll for me. Unless it's something like Nier that it's made to be played more than once. Ot unless the real ending is something really autistic like beat the game on super hard mode without losing.

>Row 1376

...

/thread

I only play games with no score system that don't end while floating in the infinite void

This is why I love Sup Forums. This place fucking beggars belief.

>1200 games beat
I got 1200 games on a shelf, barely played most of them though.
You'd have to have played a lot of shit games to break the 1000 point.

Not really, Excluding shovelware every system ahs at least 50 worthwhile games per library. Thats 3 consoles X 8 generations, which at base puts you at 900 games alone. Add a few titles or another generations worth in 5 years and you'd easily top it.

I should also mention my breakdown includes only licensed retail games. Nothing counted is indie or mobile.

I only keep track of my backlog, not the games I've already played. I don't really see the point other than dickwaving contests on the internet.

I don't need to validate it. I just enjoy doing so. I keep spreadsheets in life, been doing it since second grade, and I enjoy doing it as a hobby. DOn't see why I should persecute myself or feel bad of doing something I genuinely enjoy. Nor do I see why you want to get some form of enjoyment by trying to talk me out of it. Cause it won't work. I'm too optomistic for that.

who the hell counts the games they've played unless it's a small number or they started recently

>every system ahs at least 50 worthwhile games per library
If you have low standards then maybe. There's usually about 20-30 games that are actually "worth playing" on each system, even that's being generous for the majority of consoles.

You don't need to feel bad about being autistic, it doesn't make you any less of a human. But you're still autistic.

>every system has 50 worthwhile games
There aren't even 50 snes games worth your time. What are you smoking?

Do you remember every bread you've eaten?

who and how do you keep track of vidya you ahve played or beat.
Shit I have been playing games for 30_ years since spectrum and atari.
I must be in the 5K completed games numbers.
In my poorfag teens I used to play and compete 3 games weekly to take them back and trade for other games because of 3 game return limits.

>Fucking casuals
t.started playing vidya in 2015

All comes to taste.

There are 28 Nintendo exclusives alone. Add classics like Castlevania, X, Secret of mana, the Final fantasys, SMT, Gradius, etc. YOu easily hit 50.

It must be sad living your life.
Sorry user, keep it up.

This thread is retarded
I got 80 from my steam list alone but I've played so many ps1/ps2/ps3/older games that it's likely 200 to 300.

>every system ahs at least 50 worthwhile games per library.
1. No, that's highballing it by a ridiculous amount. Try 10-30.
2. Out of those 10-30, many are often multiplats.

People that buy/beat random indie shit just to say they beat another game are sad as fuck.

This list is retarded.

Someone who has only beat one game of DCSS, or X-Com Impossible Ironman, or the Souls games is a better vidya player than someone who has played 500 random shit games.

Bet you play MOBA trash, Overwatch, or Counterstrike.

>not a word
You don't even know what language is. What we speak wasn't given by the gods. Language evolves by the way the people who speak it want it to go. To sperg is a word as any of the ones you chose to use on your reply.

Good luck memorizing dictionaries

And i bet you suck at any competitive multiplayer videogame in existance and are hyper salty about it, thus you call them trash.

>lets create a ist for every vidya I have played
>lets create a list for every movie I have watched
>lets create a list for every television show I have watched
>lets create a list for every advert I have watched
>lets create a list for every time I took a shit

Fucking newbs. I'm playing vidya for over quarter century now, across a bunch of platforms and generations. How the fuck do you expect me to keep a shitty text file about it?

I play games for the joy of it and because i love it not for the sake of e-peen and completionism

No, I play fighting games. All the competition without the degeneracy or casual attitude of "I must ONLY play this game and nothing else or I will never be like my favorite esports idol"

And please note I said fighting games, not Smash Bros so please think before you link me embarrassing shit like Respect Your Elders as a response.

>he DOESN'T do that

Dumb frogposters.

As do I. I just add it to a list for my own joy shortly after. 3 seconds to log one name after I beat a game. Not hard. You seem to be under the impression I started this list recently and thought backwards.

tone down your autism, mate
can you share this template? it looks really good

>I must ONLY play this game and nothing else or I will never be like my favorite esports idol

But that goes for fighting games even more, they are one of the deepest competitive games and if you dont invest hundreds to thousands of hours into a single game you will never actually be actually good at that game.

>It's not about quantity but about mastery
this fuck is as autistic as OP

games are idle entertainment, or hobby they are about fun and nothing more.
If you feel that you need to be an aspergers retard and play a vidya until you "master" it then you might as well just kill yourself now and do the world a favour

Thought the same, if I had to guess I'd say I'm somewhere around the 100 games mark

I understand OP's autism to some degree but it afflicts a different board for me.
And this is automatically recorded without me having to type shit.

>he does
got a load if this faggot

It depends on you, the player. Everyone progresses differently and plateaus differently depending on their understanding and drive. After you have basic concepts down, you only need to practice a few hours a day to steadily progress and work up the rankings. When you get really good you only need a set number of hours a week to keep your skills on par, like exercising a muscle to make sure you don't lose it.

I'm not a phenomenal player right now but getting better every day and fighting games are structured so that a lot of my skills transition neatly between games, which has an added bonus of freedom. I don't have to shackle myself to a single game because fighting games and their scenes come and go every couple of years and the learning leaves me with plenty time to play other games, as I have been for over 21 years now.

>if you dont invest hundreds to thousands of hours into a single game you will never actually be actually good at that game
>play fughting game
>same fundimentals as every fighting game
>dont look at command list
>learn moves by trying them in combat
>still win

Nigga I been playing vidya since the 80's
I don't need 1000's of hours in a game to know how to play a vidya

I'd say i'm a fucking elite.

What does he get asked to prompt this remark again?

That's not how portals work.

>69 - Wii
>3 - 360

Are these fucking backwards or what? The Wii's library was not THAT fucking extensive, at least Xbox had fucking multiplats for Christ's sake.

All my multiplats are PS3. I detest the 360 sans 3 of its exclusives. Wii has 900+ released games, 66 is nothing.

The Gamecube alone has all this worth playing

Animal Crossing
Baten Kaitos Origins
Beyond Good and Evil
Burnout 2
Chibi Robo
Custom Robo
Eternal Darkness
Fire Emblem Path of Radiance
Freedom Fighter
Harvest Moon A Wonderful Life
Ikaruga
Killer 7
Luigi Mansion
Mario Kart Double Dash
Medal of Honor
Metal Arms
Metal Gear Solid Twin Snakes
Metroid Prime
Metroid Prime 2
Need for Speed Underground
Paper Mario Thousand Year door
Pikmin
Pikmin 2
Prince of Persia Sands of Time
Resident Evil 0
Resident Evil 4
Skies of Arcadia Legends
Soul Calibur 2
Star Wars Rouge Leaders: Rogue Squadron 2
Super Monkey Ball
Super Mario Sunshine
Super Smash Bros Melee
Legend of Zelda WW
Legend of Zelda TP
Timesplitters 2
Tales of Symphonia
Viewtiful Joe

Which 3 did you play on the 360? Was it Halo or Gears trilogy?

Best get counting

At least use a spreadsheet dawg

i played too many games to keep track of

Ace combat 6, Beautiful Katamari and Tales of Vesperia. I don't like nor care for FPS. actually, on that note 211 of my 801 are JRPGs.
