They're secretly proud of sonic 06, as they shoudl eb

Push it 'till they like it
Silver's the definition of wasted potential so maybe they think he'll grow on people

He's ok I guess. Needs to be playable in a working game for people to actually like him though, right now people only really remember him for IT'S NO USEEE

they have terrible taste and have fuck no idea of what works in sonic

Sonic Rivals was OK

Do they? I don't remember the last game he was in.

He's a telekinetic hedgehog, what's not to like?

This is the first time he's been playable in an important game in 11 years. And as shocking as it may seem, he actually does have a fanbase, simply because he's a hedgehog.

I like that the Sonic Channel art makes him look like a (cute) dork.

>playable
What happened?

He was in Sonic Generations and he's confirmed to be in Sonic Forces.

>Fucking Silver is confirmed to be in Sonic Forces
>Yet Blaze isn't

>Forces is his only role of note since 06 (not counting Generations because no one in Generations did anything noteworthy)
>*autistic screeching

>he doesn't know

There's really nothing actually wrong with silver as a character (hell, he doesn't even steal the spotlight in his debut game). He was just an okay character who was fucked over by greedy execs forcing the game out for christmas after cutting the dev team in half mid-way into development.

He hasn't really besides 06. Wasn't in Unleashed, only in the DS version Colors as an extremely minor character like the rest of Sonic's friends. He was a boss in Gens which is his biggest role since 06, and he wasn't in Lost World. We don't know what he'll do in Forces yet or why he's back in the past.

Blaze is from another dimension, Silver is from Sonic's world's future. Dumb as it sounds, Blaze has far less reason to be involved in saving Sonic's world than Silver does.

Because he's a Sonic character? And he doesn't show up very often enyway.

Just have Infinite threaten Blaze's world somehow. They're already bullshitting with having Chaos and Shadow being evil again, may as well go all out.

Isn't this game's Classic Sonic from another dimension? I imagine it wouldn't be too hard to shoehorn Blaze into this game as well.

Just give me Majin Shadow and I'll take him being evil again.

...

Are legitimately upset Silver got in and not your flat as a board waifu?

He's an ok character originally from an unfortunate game. Just because that game had problems doesn't mean they have to torch and ignore the whole thing when there are some good parts among the bad. 80% of fucking Japanese developers have that issue, including Sonic Team themselves in other areas.

I'm not the other guy; I was just sayin'.

On second thought, Blaze and Silver will probably both show up for no real reason other than to just be Sonic and OC-kun's cheerleaders. Everyone wins!

They throw every damn character and mechanic from the past into every game (unless it's western i.e. Archie/Boom, or specifically Sonic/Tails for some skin-deep nostalgia-pandering).

The devs either have the same autism as their fans or believe it's what's keeping them attracted to it. Also there's SEGA-"kill localizations then complain why nobody buys our weebgames"-Sammy, so don't think too hard about it.

Goddamnit I miss the comics

You mean to the two games where Sonic Team brought back everyone with even remote plot importance?

There's a few different theories
>Mind control
>Shadow's been taken during the events of SA2
>Shadow's been taken from an alternate dimension where this is canon youtube.com/watch?v=_FDUIkc4ADI
>Infinite said he'll bring Maria back.

>"It's no use"
>Sonic '06 flashbacks

Because Silver was actually fine.

On the bright side, since the comics appear to be over, maybe Sega can finally hire some of the writers of those comics, since they seem to do a better job than the writers of the games.

Sonic is the cool MC of the early 90s.
Shadow is the cool MC of late 90s/early 00s
Silver is the cool MC from late 00s/early10s
now we are seeing an faggot gary stu and the renascence of edgy characters.
and surprisingly. Sonic Forces let's you create your gary stu furfag and villain is most likely an overpowered edgylord where only with the help of faggot gary stu sonic will be able to defeat him

I heard on here that Ian Flynn is helping with Forces. I'm not sure what the source is.
The Ride 2 when?

Damnit, that made me grin.

Fuck off I like him

Dude should be the head writer for Sonic games in general.

Doea Sega realize this looks ugly?

>Silver is the cool MC from late 00s/early10s

Implying Silver was ever 'cool'.

Silver is literally
>Trunks the Psychic
He has no redeeming qualities outside of looking less edgy than Shadow

Question. Is Sonic cool? Was he cool in the 90s?

he fits the archtype of that era. people liking him or not. especially at how dense he is

He's way past cool.

You need to have potential to be able to waste it, user.

You know people got bodied in Sonic 2006 by Silver because they don't like Trunks the Hedgehog

Sometimes he is.

Well "upset" is a strong word. I'll just say I would definitely be disappointed if Blaze is not in the game, because I really like her and feel that she is a good character and deserves some attention (maybe moreso than some other Sonic characters). I am also aware that we don't know everything about Sonic Forces so she could be in the game for all I know and she just hasn't been revealed yet.
>inb4 Blaze is Infinite

>because I really like her and feel that she is a good character and deserves some attention (maybe moreso than some other Sonic characters)
That's subjective, and a lot of Sonic characters are very one note, honestly. Silver's my favourite, but I'm not bummed about every game he isn't in

get out normie

IT'S NO USE

No confirmation that Flynn is helping with Forces. We do know for a fact that series writer Warren Graff has returned and is contributing to the game's script.

>Sonic Generations
>Sonic vs Silver
>Sonic is playing it cocky, cool-attitude, catch me if you can, you're too slow
>Silver is just here grabbing the entire environment
>when he can just grab directly Sonic
Reminder that Silver is a nice guy

Kids like him.

>and a lot of Sonic characters are very one note, honestly.

Thing is, Blaze seems to be one of the few Sonic characters who isn't one note and actually has some depth to her. On top of that she has pyrokinesis powers and that's just fucking awesome (Also makes me wish she could be playable again. Sega could do some cool stuff with that gameplay-wise if they put their minds to it.) So Sega ignoring her just makes me shake my head a bit.

However upon retrospect I guess I was being too harsh. Just because I like Blaze doesn't mean I should be mad that other characters like Silver made it in yet she may have not. And you are right. Me really liking Blaze and feeling she is a good character is subjective.

Again sorry if I came off as being too mean and peace to you.

His song is neat.

Why not?

Pretty neat indeed.
