Knocked quite a few out to buki tits
>main heroine covers herself with more and more armour as game progresses
>game filled with non-human characters
>the only non-human character you get is a human girl with cat eyes/teeth
>maxim gave it 5 out of 5 stars
I'm sold.
I remember the ads for this game. Actually made me want to buy an Xbox as a teenager just because it kind of looked like Final Fantasy.
...
The japs gave it the cover it deserved
Whoops
It's a great ARPG when you're not stuck playing the FPS characters, feels like it's missing an act though.
i remember having this game and having no idea how i got it. now i don't have it anymore and i have no idea how where it went
I still hold a candle for Ailish
I remember having a hard time with it too
I literally just finished playing it though.
>tfw no more Buki
>tfw no sequel ever
Salvation Prophecy, rough as fuck but surprisingly enjoyable
I'm currently playing it at the moment. Elco's and tal's boss with behemoth was the worst part of the game. The forced artificial difficulty pissed me off to no end and forced me to cheese the fight. The fps is mechanic is cool but can become very repetitive especially in sworm of enemies.
Allish>buki>tal>elco.
Elco is the worst and barely has any advantage or pro usefulness in battle.
The two guys barely have any personality or emotion in them. Very lifeless as a robots.
>that fucking kid with the jetpack
REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
This game is on Steam, I'm sure others have played it.
have you seen the sudeki bonus ending video on youtube?
>No sequel
Blame the japs
Too bad the models stayed the same
...
I wonder how Microsoft approved of this.
literally know no one besides me that plays this
The days when microsoft wanted the weeb audience
Why isn't five out of five stars like a featuring dante badge?
I've yet to find anyone to discuss this game with, I think it should get more appreciation
That was back when the Xbox team basically had no overview from the rest of MS. Back when they would greenlight insane shit like Whacked.
It was really fun too
...
I stole money from my dad and bought this, carried it under my shirt, took out the cover and masturbated to it.
It was also a fun game.
Did someone watch the Giant Bomb Demo Derby and make this thread?
This game gave me hundreds of hours of fun. I fucking hated that oldman's orb killer special
I always meant to play this one but never got around to it. Did I miss out?
I getcha, it was the only super move you couldn't actually dodge
The clown was cock blocking me in this one mode.
Suddenly interested in checking this game out.
Gonna look for it at the local game store next time I pass by
...
I always hear people say mixed things about this but I kinda always wanted to try it.
Have it on Steam but never bothered to play it.
It's a decent to good game held up by ridiculous humor.
Mobilefagging so I can't post the coverarts, but here's a list.
>Herdy Gerdy
>Darkwatch
>Orcs and Elves (on NDS)
>Some Summon Night game on GBA
My hispanic neighbor had this and the sequel, I liked playing D'artagnan
From the looks of it they were very desperate for it. Too bad many japanese devs made stupid excuses to not develop for it. Atlus was is even the worst offender with they're shitty logic.
I recently bought whacked and had fun using lucy in the minigames. A game like that can never be green lighted without Huge controversy surrounding it. It's a shame that old Microsoft were alot more open to new shit than modern Microsoft. Assume they funded these games because game development buget was alot more affordable and less risky than now.
How did they compare?
Christ almighty ive been looking for this for years
...
It was also because MS was basically throwing shit and the wall and hoping it would stick. First they though Blinx would be the mascot, then they thought Oddworld would be the series, then they though Voodoo Vince would be the mascot, then it was Azurik, somehow ended up being Halo.
YOU ARE CHILD OF THOUSAND BASTARDS
I masturbated to the hips in this game excessively as a wee lad
Next you gonna blame the japs for low quality games too
This isn't a goat thread
What was their reasoning for not developing games for xbox beside being complication from the publish
Was just about to fucking post this, damn. Recently bought a ps2 to just play it again because the emulation of it doesn't work well for me. though I definitely prefer the pal version of the box
>What was their reasoning
I'll give you some quotes from Ed Fries and Yukio Futatsugi who were two of the main guys in charge of getting japanese support
>“We were told we couldn't make it black because black is the colour of death. I was like, isn't the PlayStation black? Rules that apply to you as an outsider don't necessarily apply to insider products.”
>“We were told we couldn't call it the Xbox because X is the letter of death,”
two completely different types of games.
i thought i was the only one who played it.
That really retarded I'm glad the x360 knock the Japanese market down. I kinda wish the x1 would do it again so they could have a reset
I am a god at this game
...
you bastard, thats all we played in computer class in elementary in our igloo canadian schools.
The sooner people realize the Japanese are just as autistic and superstitious as the chinks the better.
I'd tear my dick off for a modern day sequel to this game
some paintball game for the PC
was pretty neat, like some kind of CS cheap clone with a paintball setting iirc
The Xbox could have been a beast if the fucking nips weren't so retarded and xenophobic.
The lack of consistent japanese support has always been the main problem with the Xbox brand (until the Kinect and Xbone's unveiling)
What if they really are developing a sequel and they hold it ransom for your dick ripping off video?
...
I need Lost Kingdoms 3 a lot more than I need a dick user, are you crazy
Was it this one? because I played it.
It angers me that atari refuse allow eden to make a sequel or sell of the ip to a different publisher. Now eden games is dead and forgetten. It really needed a sequel to that stupid forced cliffhanger ending.
I loved how game just introduced the player to most of its mechanics without holding your hand in the beginning of the game.
Well no shit. The only devs who were on board were either people from Sega who appreciated MS putting out of a hand when the Dreamcast went under like Yukio Futatsugi or Jap devs who were about practicality and making games instead of dick wagging like Itagaki. Sadly afterwards Futatsugi basically got blacklisted and Itagaki just so happened to be fired.
i played so many fucking weird ass freeware games on the net and this is the only one that has stood out for me
...
I wonder if they still think that way.
Good luck with that the weebs would hype up literally nip shit before that happen. Which is a shame cause of the games they make could be indie games price at best
See that gun? You can equip it anywhere
Yes, even your face
How about this one?
I liked Itagaki games in comparison to souls games. The only differences is that ninja garden use cheap tricks on harder difficulty. I would by his games in a heart beat
Splat Magazine Renegade Paintball for the PC actually
haven't touched it in 3 years.
Gotta respect and give props to namco for making this gem. Most nips still refuse to get of out the jrpg genre make something unique and great.
>Play sequel
>Can't equip knives and guns to my legs
And they call them killing machines.
I see.
They very much do. Like said quite a few of the devs that worked on Xbox games were basically shunned afterwards or mysteriously had their careers ruined or reduced to making mobile games. Despite Futatsugi creating fucking Panzer Dragoon he's been shut out from most game studios. For fuck sake Smilebit has been relegated to making sports games for the last decade. Obviously not all of that has to do with Japanese dick waving but as a basis very little of that would have happened if the Japanese had actually bought the jap games that were made for the original Xbox.
I've never met anyone who's even heard of it, and when I looked it up on YT about a year ago there was like ONE channel that had anything on it at all. It's actually not terrible... according to pre-teen me, at least.
Rented that once in my teens. Only rented it because I'd played about everything else and tits. Turned out to be half decent, really. Never got to any point that explained why it was M, though. Seemed pretty tame.
I played this game all the way through and I hated every minute of it.
Better to use cheap tricks rather than artificial difficulty like Souls games do.
>Prizes and surprises!
Loved this game as a kid
That's because the Japanese don't seem to care about games outside of RPGs. FPS games don't sell there, action games like DMC don't sell there, Tactics games don't sell there unless they have animu characters in them. They basically destroy all of their creative game devs. Phantom Dust sold like garbage despite being so creative there's still not a single other game that plays like it.
...
Played this when I was a kid. Pretty fun game if I remember correctly.
I'm literally the only person in history who has ever played this.
artificial difficulty is better than cheap tricks. With artificial difficulty when you die it's your own fault. Cheap tricks you get bullshitted. I would give NG better controls over souls games.
Breakdown is one of the greatest games of all time
It's like nips are actually more casual than westerners
>Never got to any point that explained why it was M, though. Seemed pretty tame.
Did you play past the first 5 minutes? Every enemy you defeat gets gib'd and explodes into blood and guts
I really can't think of any cheap tricks in Ninja Gaiden outside of maybe a few parts in NG2 like the stupid exploding turtle boss. Even then that was just a stupid solution, not really a trick.
There might be a future for PD since it was free and it has a good amount of player base
The fuck kinda classical music sim is that?
Well they are the only one making hard games in the industry
I played the demo and loved the fuck out of it. Goddamn, Official Playstation Magazine demo discs used to be the shit.
I played it for a few hours, but to be fair I may have just been so desensitized to blood at that point in video games that I didn't even register it.
First time I played through Dark Souls I flatout never once consciously noticed there's a huge spray of blood with headshots and backstabs. I even remember being unsure why it was rated M by the end of it and assumed it was just the dark fantasy tones and kind of fucked up scenarios some questlines go through.
But if Injustice can have Superman fry a child's brain through his face with eye lasers and have literal chunks of flesh taken out of people during fights and get away with T I don't even understand the rating system anymore.
gonna be honest, Yu Gi Oh! was one of the few card games I ever got into. The rules were simple, the illustrations enjoyable.
Played the fuck out of the demo that came with one of the Shonen Jump releases.
