the far cry 4 story was really phoned in
far cry 3 has a surprisingly good one for a dudebro game
There overall story was, but anything involving Pagan Min was fantastic. I honestly thought he was better than Vas or any of the other characters in Far Cry 3. But yeah, 3 was good for, as you say: "a dudebro game".
>he was better than Vas
Pagan was fun but let's not get carried away here
Don't get me wrong, I thought Vas was a good villain, but ultimately just didn't have the impact Pagan did for me. Plus I liked the connection Ajay and Pagan had.
What the hell is with your post spacing?
...
So why the fuck did Ubisoft choose to make fucking Yeti's instead of an alternate campaign where you rule WITH Pagan? The fuck?
>Vas
I love how it goes from Blood Dragon, a game better than the base game it was supported by... To yeti's... YETI'S!
We could have had more Pagan Min, but no...
At least Pagan didn't die half way through the game he was on the cover of...
>Best ending is not joining the golden path
>Second best ending is letting Pagan Min live
Can we just have a Far Cry 4 remake where you side with Pagan instead of Druglord Grill and Lolifucker?
He was such a great character. He deserved to be in such a better game
>He was slightly deranged and a little bit dangerous
>The BL1 main characters fucked him over so hard he became insane and directly stopped him from purging the raiders and bandits and allows the planet to be fucked by criminals just so they could act tough in front of Jack
Jack literally did nothing wrong.
wasn't he already using his daughter prior to arriving to Pandora/the Moon? that's pretty much his only nondebatable sin
I agree, he was honestly the only reason I played through all of Borderlands 2 and Presequel... And even then he couldn't save that mess...
is daddy min the best villian of 2016?
Yes. Yes he is.
But even then, Angel herself kinda screwed you over in the first game...
Well he's from a 2014 game, so...
at the beginning of the game if you sit at the table like he tells you to he will eventually come back and you can join him after he helps you place your mothers ashes on the mountain.
Oh God you're right... I honestly thought that game came out last year...
Indeed. And I absolutely love that that is an option in game.
I liked the shangri-la missions
>ITT: Well written characters in bad games?
I recently read all far cry games are supposed to take place in the same universe
Not sure how to feel about that
Wasn't she dangerous and out of control when he locked her away?
Supposedly, all Ubisoft games share a universe. More interestingly, all Far Cry games' stories can be loosely linked.
youtu.be
>I have created a space laser that can vaporise bandit settlements from orbit
>I want to use this space laser to free the planet of crime and violence
>Time to save the planet and become a hero
Jack was too much of a bro for the Borderlands universe.
He was.
That game is Disgaea 4.
Why was one Golden Path leader more reasonable than the other?
I was with the chick until she said she wanted the country to be a big drug trade and destroying every part of their history. The fuck?
Also the Shangrila missions were the best ones.
yeah I haven't finished the game because the wife keeps taking over the ps4, have to wait for her to finish BF1 so I can reinstall my FC4. I loved Pagan Min from the start, its just like "dude wtf do you have to be the bad guy"
Also, remember "but muh children?" she kept saying, and that girl Bhadra she kept saying she wanted to protect? Remember how she said she wants to build schools and hospitals for the children?
The game hints that when Amita goes into power, she had Bhadra killed. And the drug farms you protect early on in the game? The children are the ones tending to the drug crops instead of going to school.
You can side with him, it's the best ending in the game. But it's a "alternate, non-canon" ending and the game ends right then and there.
She clearly did not care about the children at all. And the fucking part where she says "Is it because I am a woman?". No bitch, it's not because you are a woman, it's beause you are a bitch.
It actually was wierd how she kept bringing up the "woman" bit, because Sabal kept saying what an awesome warrior she was, the Golden Path members all talked about what a brave soldier she was, even the guy on the radio talks about how much he loves Amita.
Literally no one ever said anything about her being a woman. Hell, there are lots of female soldiers in the Golden Path.
