1 and 3 have better stories but 2 has the best stealth. The introduction of exterior levels and camouflage to the series is what caused the stealth to go from stylish and fast to sluggish and prostrated.
2 is the best MGS game.

Each staff member has "levels" of language ability. They only need the most basic (i.e.- being able to tell the mother base slut to suck your dick) to get infected.
