I haven't picked it up yet, I just got my Switch a few days ago, but when I do I'm all about MAX BRASS.

I think the reasons for taking it out were all pretty fair, the snakeboards made some characters wau too OP and nerfed the hell out of the others and I know when it comes to ranked matches in pretty much anything people don't like gimmicky stages

I just don't get this game. Core mechanics are way too basic, which results in repetitive, bait and switching as the only viable strategy. Single player is also repetitive and a grind fest, along with an AI that literally cheats on the harder difficulties (I've beaten it on 7, before you start accusing me of being shit). Definitely selling this to get Splatoon, pretty disappointed with it overall.

Ribbon girl wasn't untouched, she was actually nerfed, except the reason she had to be nerfed was a glitch in the first place. She was never supposed to be able to attack so many times in mid air

Most boxing glove variants and slamamander work well with helix, since he needs to always be moving

I think Hydra complements Helix's playstyle in particular. Megaton also seems decent for him after the buffs.

I'll keep that in mind. So certain ARMS work better for certain characters then? I didn't entirely expect that to be the case but that's interesting to find out. Also a bit surprised to find the Homies that high but I never found out how to use that shit.

The top third of ARMS are almost equally viable, user. That's really good for a fighting game.

I mean, pretty much everyone is good with Bubb/Hydras, and pretty much all fire arms are powerful because of their knockdown ability and boosted damage output, and the only fundamental difference between the characters are their movement options and a few other bells and whistles, but even then I wouldn't just pick 3 and rock them on every character without a second thought.

characters with a good air/vertical game are better at abusing Blorbs

Alright, I get it. Still, I don't get the Homies. What the hell do they do? I found a lot more success with the Whammer/Revolver combo with Mechanica than I did using a Homie on her. That shit seemed to constantly miss without giving a good enough incentive for landing a hit.
