That reminds me, in the VN, whenever he was experiencing some serious magic related trauma, his thoughts would seem uncannily robotic. Then there's the scene where he rejects Saber's desire for lunch and pretends to be a robot and she wacks him so hard we get a fake tiger dojo where Taiga and Illya turn him into a machine.

I think Nasu stated that he put almost no effort into writing the H scenes and they were literally just there to push sales. The scenes in F/HA were mostly written by fans and generally much better. People cry censorship on the all ages version, but the RN replacement scenes were at the very least, less cringe worthy, and could actually be a bit entertaining, like the first Fate H scene which was replaced with Shirou have a crazy acid trip instead.
