I am afraid it will be next to nonexistend in the beginning, because of the whole "discovering a new world" theme of the game
an existing village there would't make sense...
now if that means we can build the whole thing and make it comfy af, that'd be alright

This plus the ideal setting of a small village in snowy mountains was the apex of comfy. Nothing really came close to it.

Something akin to Digimon World or Xenoblade Chronicles would be pretty amazing. Always like gradually building up towns in games in that manner.

I wish/hope Monster Hunter World is more colorful. I don't mind the environments being a bit desaturated, but the monsters, but the armor/equipment and monsters should pop out some more.
