Nice work user
>Luna Blaster with splat bombs and baller
>Tri-Slosher with burst bombs and ink armour
>Goo Tuber with suction bombs and splashdown
These sound insane. I also saw a pic somewhere else of the gold dynamo with ink armour, which also sounds crazy.
>Luna Blaster with Baller
aces
Its gonna be crazy over there, japs are gonna fucking kill each other for a copy if Nintendo doesnt print enough.
Look at this shit, a line for blocks just to get a lottery ticket for the opportunity to buy a Switch. Nintendo is kicking themselves (and probably plotting to kill Apple) for not being able to get more Switches out there, they could be losing on lods of emone
You forget the most important one.
>leaving slightly modded weapons (like .52->.92) with near identical models
>leaving in scoped chargers
>changing the model of some but not all weapons seemingly randomly instead of going full one way or the other
why did the devs do this
this is literally all I wanted them to do in the squeal and they did none of it, I know its stupid but I'm actually upset
>>leaving in scoped chargers
Apparently scoped chargers can't hold charge when swimming, so there's actually an advantage to not using one this time.
there was always an advantage to not using them as you're field of view wasn't reduced, their range is not long enough for zooming in to actually help aim
only standoffish fags who can't into offensive sniper used scoped chargers
although chargers should stand back in some cases to be a spawn point for a team, most of the time in splatoon its better for them to extend and get other kills but a lot of low level scrubs would refuse to push if they were sniper
all scoped chargers did was encourage a bad playstyle, the only actual utility they have over normal scoped chargers was a slight advantage in sniper v sniper if the enemy didn't have a scope
scope chargers are cancer and should not be in splatoon
Nintendo said that they were suppose to push more switch out for japan i think this month.
what's the source on this image? haven't seen it anywhere.
Didn't they start recalling Switches from Europe to ship them over to Japan instead?
what sub weapon is that?
toxic gas I believe
spawns an aoe that lingers and ticks health
interesting. I gotta watch the direct again.
>less than a week away
I can't wait.
>Implying it will sell more than 300k
Scoped chargers shot farther than unscoped ones.
I'll prepare the dicks and crows for you.
>salesfags can't even wait until game is out to talk about sales
jfc
yes, but in only really help in sniper v sniper
it was a shitty prisoners dilemma
Doesn't it have that amount just with preorders?
Extra range is always worthwhile. And most chargers stacked enough damage to kill right as the scope animation began. The only real benefit of unscoped chargers was that you could peek easier due to better peripheral vision. Charge storing in 2 is a smart buff, but it runs out too quickly to actually be useful.
t. charger main
yes this is pre order numbers.
People have gotten into the Switch already? Didn't Nintendo try super hard to prevent this from happening?
t.retard
charge storing worked absolutely excellent during my time with the splatfest, especially in Humpback Track, fucking amazing map for chargers. Extra range isnt gonna help dick.
A bunch of the weapons could be seen in the direct + review copies are already out.
>extra range on a weapon that relies entirely on its range isn't worthwhile
Goo Tuber might be good, but the stored charge dissipates far too quickly.
REviews
How could nips be so fucked about video games and having sex robots. What drives them to this?
They're probably going to drop 100k-200k Switches for Splatoon 2 alone, but I still don't think that's enough. They could probably double their sales of Switches with Splatoon 2's release in Japan alone. They're losing out from weekly sales and now from the sale of one of their biggest sellers in Japan.
If they finally get out of the parts stranglehold by September, maybe they'll be able to make more Switches then and could possibly launch special Splatoon 2 promotional events to draw more sales in that way.
>only one brush
Reminder that this is the Switch's ONLY worthwhile TRUE exclusive : )
no
scope is shit
if you stack only attack you miss out on other buffs like speed, in the first game only newbies would swarm to scope because it made them slightly better against nonscoped chargers and they couldn't see past its other faults
charge storing is great and I found it makes chargers immensely more powerful against other chargers that stay on a perch as you can rush around a corner to snipe and also was particularly effective in making the charger work as a close ranged weapon as you can now easily dance around enemies and as long as you have good aim can win encounters with lower ranger weapons
t. s+ rank charger main
they should really just remove scope
It will sell 2 million in the first month worldwide minimum. I'm betting it'll have 110% attach rate in Japan, and 70-80% attach rate everywhere else.
>on a weapon that relies entirely on its range
let me guess """"""charger main"""""", your rank was a solid B
Reminder that Switch's first year is better than PS4's first 3 years.
Okay, the splatfest sold me.
How do I make 60 bucks fast. I can barely pay rent as is.
sell your body to research studies
start snatching purses
make a lemonade stand
I FOUND A WAY
Something like that.
Donate blood plasma
Most places have a starting bonus for new donors, near me it's 70/60bux alternating for the first month, then 40/30, and you can donate twice a week.
If you have special enzymes in your blood plasma, you can get even more dosh -consistently-.
Make sure you're hydrated, though.
How would this be possible with you not being able to realize the utility of the stored charge and insisting that it goes away too fast?
This doesn't add up in the slightest.
I would sooner suggest you used inspect element on chrome then say this is legit.
Splatoon is the biggest video game ip in Japan now. Bigger than animal crossing, Pokemon and dragon quest
The ratio and attach rating is fucking huge
>They got rid of bubble on rapid blaster so I can't play keep away as effectively as before.
Thank god I'm not buying this game or the switch.
I played the charger for a good amount during the Splatfest, mostly during the first rotation of each session. The charge store doesn't really last long enough to get anywhere, but it does come in handy during very specific situations(swimming up on top of a box to hit an opposing charger watching you). Both weapons have their applications, and to call scopes bad is to be uninformed.
don't want you playing desu famalam
jet squelcher is going to be a fucking monster with that loadout
bubble doesnt exit period.
>needing invincible specials as a crutch
good riddance, casual
looks like I'll be going 52 or 96 gal again, also, what the hell happened to Inkstrike?
What are you spending your money on
Do you have cash saved up
You need to evaluate your life and habits if you can barely subsist on your earnings, unless you're just forced to be a minimum wager.
Ink armor is the bubble right?
If so why does it only get two variables
being able to shoot one inch further at the cost of tunnel vision while holding a charge and now not being able to peak around corners or handle low ranged weapons is an awful trade
All of the specials were replaced.
Good luck hitting people up close when you can't hold your charge for more than a couple of seconds.
Beautiful lore.
There still is the other charger that holds a charge longer so might be more useful then the one in splatfest.
is that everything or are there remodels of existing ones available, don't see 52 gal deco, which was my main. anyone know what baller does yet? also, I feel point sensor is a better secondary than what the vanilla 52 gal had, which IIRC was the inkwall
good luck not dying at close range if you wait a couple of second to fire your weapon idiot
Goo Tuber takes significantly longer than the normal chargers.
All specials are replaced, some are repurposed. The Baller is kinda like a Kraken, but it can't attack without detonating itself. It also isn't invincible, it just gives a large amount of health.
>actually release a good system
>a game for said system has such high demand in Japan, violence over copies is expected
>fail to match the demand for said system because of a part shortage
what did Kimishima mean by this?
Yeah we do did you miss the splatoon Direct?
its not everything.
I'd rather go into SP knowing as little as possible, so I haven't seen any
The direct doesn't show any single player stuff until the end.
To charge a shot? Or do you just mean it holds longer. Kinda a shame if it really is bad, I looked forward to using it
He will make the world his when they all cry for the superior Switch chinpo
Both. It charges slower, but can hold one for much longer once it actually does get that charge.
I hope they do something with the inkbrush to make it different from the octobrush
gimme a down slash kill move please to replace jumping attack
I'm really fucking excited for this game and I can hardly stomach having to work a whole week before I get to play.
Send help.
So who performs the better music, the Squid Sisters or Off the Hook?
off the hook
youtube.com
Marie's solo song.
>in one week, splatoon might sell more than the highest selling PS4 game in japan (FFXV) at least until DQ comes out
I'm really liking basically any Off the Hook song that has Marina's vocals as the focal point.
the new squid sisters song is my favorite song in the series so far.
this
>marinafags
don't let this first win go to your head
I want to replace Off the hook with the Squid sisters
I liked Marina prior to the win, faggot.
Just as I like Marie more than Callie despite the fact that she lost all the fucking time.
youtube.com
I'm mad they hid this from the splatfest demo
underrated
