Hira/Kata takes like 2 weeks each to be very comfortable with, AND there is some similarities. Kanji is pure memorization, but my biggest problem is how similar some can look, and how radicals stop being helpful past shit like "ice". Also fuck counters.

This one, with exception of the grueling task of learning Kanji ofc, pisses me off the most.
When I'd learned kana in a classroom environment the backwards sentences and fucked grammar made sense to me, but later on when I started reading Japanese text it all REALLY bled together; it's legible, but it's annoying as fuck to parse sentences.
Doesn't help that it feels so unbelievably unnecessary to just not have any sort of spacing.

Japanese doesn't need spaces because of how words are conjugated. Often commas are put in for emphasis as well. Hiragana and Katakana are easy as fuck to learn and are literally the same sounds and often extremely similar in appearance.

The two basic alphabets can be easily learned within a couple of weeks, they are fucking easy.

Japanese grammar is also some of the EASIEST shit in the universe. Seriously, they might have the simplest grammar in the world right after turkish.
Three times (present, past perfect and past continuous), no cases, no declension. It has virtually no exceptions and the grammar is highly regular. Grammar structures are shared among word classes. Word order is so strict that once you get a hang of it, you literally cannot fuck it up.

There are only four things that are difficult with Japanese: Kanji due to their irregular and complex nature (multiplicity of readings, irregular compounds), proper politeness systems and their contextuality, and huge variety of regional dialects.
That is all. Everything else is easy as fuck.

This, and besides kanji the difficulties you mentioned are easily avoidable (at least outside of reading/listening). Just always speak politely and use "standard" Japanese.
