Dino Crisis 2

These

REmake is by far the best

1. Dino Crisis
2. Resident Evil
3. Resident Evil 2

Do you not know how to fucking read?

Maybe you should learn how to REad before commenting

3 > 2 > 1

resident evil 1 hd remake

>type type type
You are REtarded

1 has HUGE charm and feels fresh and original. Backgrounds/graphics can be rough as hell and it's filled with charming "weirdness" like full live action videos.

2 is polished to hell and fun.

3 is completely soulless. Remove the spooky mansion setting and RE isn't as good. The story is rushed and really stupid.

fpbp

We know what it's a remake of, but the question as stated with the context of the image implies that only the original is being considered.

He asked what Resident Evil is the best of 1-3
It is REmake

The original is shit m8, and I lived it as a kid.

resident evil 2 feels like it was the most ambitious aaa of the early bunch

2

It would be 3 but nemesis ruins it.

did you rike it scary?

RE3 basically has no story. Its mainly a "Get out of this shit"-story but doesn't add too much to the whole series, which can be seen in a good way though. Just fight your way out of the city and don't run into Nemesis at all cost. Nemesis himself was propably one of the best ideas Capcom had with the old games.

...

re3 was scary and atmospheric tho with great backgrounds

I'm not sure what you're trying to ask

2, no question

>RE3 basically has no story.

It's the story of how Jill got out, and adds tons of totally uneeded shit that's the start of Capcom adding more elements to Racoon City than needed. Umbrella sent a completely useless and irrelevant commando team in who died immediately, and then they sent in Nemesis. By the end, there's like 70 helicopters in flying in and out of Racoon City dropping shit off or picking people up. And there ends up being like 10 labs in Racoon City.

>Its mainly a "Get out of this shit"-story but doesn't add too much to the whole series, which can be seen in a good way though. Just fight your way out of the city and don't run into Nemesis at all cost.

I might have liked the game if it was more about survival and escape.

>Nemesis himself was propably one of the best ideas Capcom had with the old games.

You mean worst? He's just Mr. X... again... but bigger-er and stronger-er. It's a complete rehash.

3 > 2 > 1

2 was the first I played so I'm massively biased, but I'd have to go with it. It's the perfect middle point between the atmospheric horror of 1 and the more action-oriented approach of 3.

What's so bad about Nemesis?

4

He said 1-3 not REmake - 3

>What's so bad about Nemesis?

Rehashed, uninspired, really dumb, and completely artificial to the setting/plot. It's like they realized their game was boring half way through and threw it in.

>Literally created to hunt STARS memebers
>Which you are
>He seems artificial to the plot

It's artificial because it's dropped off by a Heli from an outside source and has nothing to do with Racoon City. And they already did that with Mr. X. They should have just done it once. Even Jill finding some lab and unleashing something would have been better.

Nemesis (Last Escape) and Code Veronica are shit rehashed plots with lots of stupid shit.

>Literally created to hunt STARS memebers

Not sure why Umbrella even cares at that point, as they probably have bigger problems considering a whole city just went Zombified.

I think Nemesis added some cool new elements to the game. Compare the overall structure of the game with the Code Veronica...

Im the only one who feels like CV is the real RE3 and RE3 is just some quick cash grab?

how many times are you gonna post

Yes you're the only one with bad tastes

I posted the first time in this thread...

Good to know

I liked this port.

3 is almost a carbon copy of B route in RE2 with Nemesis just being a slightly more annoying Mr. X.

This is a legit hard question for me, but I gotta narrow it down to 2 or 3.

They are all great games, but I have a special place in my heart for 2 - it was my first RE game. Decided to buy RE1 so I could finally experience the original. The following Christmas, I got RE3 and ff8, and played em both at my grandparents house while my grandma watched. She loved watching me shoot zombies, surprisingly.

It really depends on your perspective. RE1 is the most contained, being the mansion and all. RE2 opens it up with a peek at Raccoon City, during the outbreak, but expands to the police station, sewers, underground labs.

RE3 had the biggest scope of the originals, and runnin' around an infested city was awesome as hell. Also, it had a useable m4a1.

I probably have to give it to 2, simply because of the way the scenarios worked.

Time to post soundtracks. I start with the best one.

I thought this was confirmed by Capcom already.

Resident Evil EXTREME or something like that.

I'd like to see Nemesis make a return - not the same monster, obviously, but the same model Type-N come back.

He seemed like he was the only BOW that actually worked-as-intended. Tyrants would go apeshit and kill everyone if they lost their coats, but nemesis just got more powerful. He used weapons, could follow orders, and was aesthetic as hell. He had personality.

After he shot down the chopper and just stood on the roof of the tower, I got goosebumps.

>I'd like to see Nemesis make a return

I think it's pretty much confirmed that Mr X will return in RE2 remake.

Nemesis isn't Mr. X numbnuts

RE3 is fun as hell, with Nemesis chasing you, the ammunition creation and the randomness of the item placement. It had as much replay ability as RE2 while using only one main character.

Damn, I have to get that game.

You do know it's original title was Last Escape, right?

it's pretty much the same monster, just with a different skin :^)

I wouldn't wonder if Mr. Xstarts to chase you in the Remake just like Nemesis. But who knows in which ways Capcom will fuck up the Remake anyway.

I want the new Mr X to be a permanent monster chasing you throughout the game in real time.

2>1>3

Resident 1 is the one where supplies are actually scarce and the place is non linear enough to explore, 2 and 3 are more action oriented even if its less than stuff like RE4

True that they're all good. 2 is just one of those sequels done right.

The only choices are 1, 2, or 3. REmake is not one of those choices.

I loved the REmake but the original is so special to me, its the very first 3D i saw on TV, it blew my mind away.

Why the tits is there no hd remake for 2 and 3

the second one is in 'development'

Remake 1 sold only modestly. Not a bomb or anything, but it didn't make them any money. Capcom had huge loses in that era, so they didn't bother with it.

Then a decade later they think about half assing some HD remasters of their old game, and then they're blown away to find out that the HD Remaster of Remake sold more than the original. 1.9 HD Remake sales vs. 1.0 original sales. So now they're putting Remake 2 in the works.

I guarantee you if Remake was PS2 focused it would have sold more.

I wonder what are those actors doing today, are they alive or dead?

3 > 2 > 1 although I think 2 is the best paced game. Getting that trolley to work in Nemesis is literally half the fucking game.

They're all good. Why should I pick and choose among the best games when they're great in their own ways.

I literally couldn't choose to be honest, I actually do like them all equally no shitposting

They were all non-actors who were living in Japan at the time. A few have done interviews.

Supposedly Jill was 15 or 16. She's younger than the Rebecca actor.

Capcom has lost touch.

I have no expectations for REmake 2 and 3.

So, LeonA and ClaireB?

Sweet, thanks for the info.

Wow no shit? You think Leon will be in it too?

What's that from?

holy shit i lost it when they were running in circle

This is what redeemed 1 for me. I started on 2 and by comparison just loathed 1, BUT this hilarious intro made it worth it. I never skipped it.

2 but if we are counting remakes then it would be RE1 remake.

I really do love the near deserted streets of Raccoon City with just the low moaning of distant zombies carrying on the wind.

Gee I dunno, ya think? :^)

WE MAKE IT

...

This is fully in line with RE cheese factor. I retroactively understand and enjoy 5 now.

ClaireA/LeonB

>"""survival horror"""

I only hold some hope since its the REmake team working on it, or so I've heard. They'll find a way to fuck it up somehow though.

Who is this immaculate ejaculate?

This is so ridiculous I thought it was a parody at first.

Even the live action movies are much better than this shit

>Resident Evil then:
>slow zombies
>fast mutants like hunters, lickers, and spiders
>bosses like tyrants, giant snakes, and plants
>have to conserve ammunition

>Resident Evil now:
>kung fu and QTEs

>have to conserve ammunition

Alright so you've never actually played an RE game? The conserve ammo shit is just for the first hour or so because you literally start with nothing

>be resident evil 3
>can craft unlimited supply of ammo and dual wield

cant wait till they remake all the residents in first person view in the RE engine. its gonna be glorious

>>Resident Evil now:
>>kung fu and QTEs

This is the past user, now we outlast

>RE 2
>Protagonist of B scenario has to find the valve and put out the fire even though the protagonist of A scenario supposedly did the same thing at the same time
>Protagonist of B scenario has to find and use all the keys to unlock all the doors even though the protagonist of A scenario supposedly did the same thing at the same time
>Protagonist of B scenario has to do the card puzzle to get the golden gear and use the crank to bring down the stairs and use the gear even though the protagonist of A scenario supposedly did the same thing at the same time
2 would have been a lot better if it was actually somewhat consistent.

2/1>3

Maybe non Alice Apocalypse scenes and parts of the first movie is alright. Only good thing about them were the Jill maybe Carlo' actor scenes and that's it otherwise I can't remember shit about them.

>people actually want this and tps view in REmake2

I hope you're joking because motherfuckers actually want this.

In RE1 there simply wasn't enough ammo to kill everything so you had to choose which zombies were placed in the spots hardest to avoid and kill them, every other RE has enough ammo to just kill everything and its always a good idea to kill than just fire one or two rounds since damage isn't remembered but killing the zombie is.

not joking, I really fucking want it

only correct answer

Code veronica you fucking donkey
Well, it would be if not for the steve fight and the final boss. Legitimately poor.

So probably MOST FLAWLESS is ReMake. Masterful.

For tone and combat and gameplay options Nemesis is a fucking blast.

Nah man, just played it for the first time and killed everything in my path. Including some redheads that rose up. Quit spreading this shit meme.
