is the original Castlemania still the best?
Is the original Castlemania still the best?
I'm enjoying it even though I still can't beat Dracula. Looking forward to CV3 as I've heard its even better
1 is very, very, very, very solid.
3 is better.
It's good, but Rondo is still king.
>most anticlimactic dracula fight in the series
>king
Honestly Dracula X is better
I just bought this on the Wii at my mom's house as it was the cheapest way to play it without emulating
>Forgetting Castlevania 2's piss poor Dracula fight
user, virtual console IS an emulator.
I wish they would put Rondo on Steam or something
Remember to use holy water in the second half of the fight. And for the first half, you can time a jump toward Dracula where you can whip his face while jumping over his fireballs. Good luck, user! I envy you.
3 > Rondo > 4 > Dracula X > Bloodlines > 1 > 2
>mania
>not vania
>everyones just ignoring these two faggots trying to force this castleMania shit
I have never been more proud of you, Sup Forums

is it worth playing both rondo and dracula x?
I've only gotten to phase two once. I can usually dodge/jump over fireballs but I keep taking damage when he teleports right in front of my path.
No, that would be it's remake.
Super Castlevania 4
A 8 bit masterpiece.
Based Rondo.
>Dracula X is better
I like it but it's nowhere close, also final boss is bullshit.
I want to drink her beer.
I'd say yes, they play pretty differently. Aside from music, characters and a couple of the stage designs, they aren't that similar.
Yeah, I remember having trouble with that too. If I remember right, you have to keep moving and sort of juke in the opposite direction every few steps in order to have time to avoid his teleports. Cv1 is my favorite classicvania, but you might enjoy 3 as much or more. It's much harder though. When you get to it, try to play the Japanese version. It's about as hard as Cv1, and the music is much better than the other version.
