Every time I play REmake...

Every time I play REmake, I always remember what to do for the first third or so and then I almost completely forget what to do next.

REmake Thread FUCK YEAH!

Fuck i just hear the clicky sounds when you go through these menus.

I used to speed run this game. I had a path that took me through the entirety of the mansion in about 30 minutes. I cant even trigger barry to give me the acid grenade rounds anymore

>you'll never get eaten by Yawn.

Why live?

for a moment i thought it was the moonlight sword from kings field

That's because the first 3rd is linear (you can either get the arrowhead or not, there's nothing else to do) and then after that the game expands up until you need to head to the guest house, in which case it becomes linear again and then expands again when you return to the mansion. The game opens and closes to give an even mix of open exploration and linear progression. Probably one of the best games ever designed.

Luckily for me, I *think* I have a better idea of what to do after giving it another playthrough last year, though some parts are still fuzzy to me.

The Moonlight Chubby

King's Field thread?

Same, I think it's because I normally get bored and stop playing after about 30 minutes every time.

Just found out Resident Evil 2 Remake will be using REngine
Press S to spit
RIP

>tfw we will never get tightly designed 3D spaces with intricate level design like in REmake ever again simply because that's too much work and casuals are satisfied with either ultra-linear shooter campaigns or bland open-world overworlds

It's made from peridot. Sometimes reffered to as "poor man's emerald"

>no source

Why is reamke so godo

AH

Hope you're good with basic math

Visual design. Zero is really great at this as well, aside from the monsters.

When should I use the Magnum? Just returned from the Lisa encounter with the Flamethrowers.

RE Engine is fucking great though, by far the most photo-realistic visuals in the industry.

zombie models in the CEDEC presentation were most likely for RE2 and guess what engine was the center piece

It really is too good remake im going to play tomoro or day after fuck yes

Tyrant. If you're good you'll use that two-shot magnum on him as well because it deals shitfucktons of damage.

It's made primarily for VR and is not compatible with fixed camera angles. That's the bad side. If they go FPS for the Remake, expect to pick it up for 5 euros after the first month

>this
>spooky
Where the fuck do you think you are.

That's true, changing the camera is a deal breaker. But we don't fully know what their plans are, or how RE Engine will be used in the future.

I'm still not a fan of key items taking up space; backtracking is never fun.

chodelight shortsword

i opened this in a new tab and got fullscreen'ed, didn't even get a scare feel and that saying i get scared easily by jumpscares

I don't think I'm ever going to do Chris mode ever again because of this.

Knife only was really fun

It's a photo from the mentioned presentation of Capcom, its not a jump scare

Post the fucking presentation and stop wasting time.

>mfw played as Chris on my first playthrough not knowing the difference

It sure made playing as Jill feel easy as fuck though. I ran around the mansion so much picking up items and storing them, I could draw a map of it from memory.

Doing real survival using Chris must be fucking insufferable, but I only play Jill because of her model anyway. Meeting Rebecca is probably the only reason why anyone would want to play Chris, that and the added knife damage for knife only runs.

>gave him name and a photo from there
>too autistic to google it
>expects others to spoon fed him like the fucking retard he is
Kys faggot

>try to play REmake
>get a plank of wood
>after two hours trying to figure out what to do with it a friend tells me about the fireplace
>stop playing
Am I just retarded?

There's nothing in the game that's indicative of anything that might get into REmake2.

No. I don't even remember how I figured it out. Maps are pretty useless anyways.

Was my first fucking thought.

>It's not compatible with fixed camera angles
what? engines have limits, strength and weaknesses but there's no such thing as an engine not being able to do static camera, where the fuck did you pull that one off?

That's one of the more retarded puzzles and it's completely optional anyway. The only way I figured that out was because I thought that the board fits the space above the fireplace.

REmake and Resident Evil in general have pathetically easy puzzles, they require a minimal amount of thinking. No reason to quit over this.

>Maps are pretty useless anyways.
Disagree with this. Unless you've played the game over and over again about a million times and know the layout of the game by heart, the map helps.

I mean the map pickups. They don't add much outside of rooms behind locked doors. You can discover everything without them.

for half a second I thought that was the MGS

this, i wonder why random people think they know anything at all about anything at all that they don't know

I still kinda disagree. That shit helped me last time I played.

Well, it is clear as day that the engine was not built with fixed camera angles in mind. If they decide to go this route, they will need to modify it in order to get the best out of it for the said scenario. If they won't, it will not do justice to this type of visual setting to call it so.

lol

REmake 2 WILL best first person
Not a Hero WILL be a linear corridor fest that ends with 'Find out what happens in the next DLC coming Winter 2017'
Revelations 3 WILL never come out
Ready the ropes

Too bad that those retards lost the original background files of REmake. It could look so much better...
