U.S: Here’s The NPD Sales Results For June 2017 BACK TO TOP 3DS NINTENDO SWITCH U.S: Here’s The NPD Sales Results For June 2017 BY SICKR July 21, 2017 1 Comment on U.S: Here’s The NPD Sales Results For June 2017 It’s that time of the month again when we receive data from the NPD Group stating the amount of software sold in North America. The June NPD’s are here and the recently released ARMS for Nintendo Switch entered the charts at number five, which is rather impressive given its status as a new fighting IP. The game was followed by The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild at number six and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe at eight.
June 2017:
Tekken 7 Injustice 2 Grand Theft Auto V Crash Bandicoot: N. Sane Trilogy Arms* – 256,000 physically plus digitally The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild* – 145,000 physically plus digitally (keep in mind the chart is by revenue, and that the rankings exclude digital so presumably Mario Kart at 180K was on sale somewhere or had major digital sales) Mario Kart 8* – 180,000 physically plus digitally Overwatch** NBA 2K17 Horizon Zero Dawn

Hardware:
PS4: #1
Notes: - The PlayStation 4 was June’s best-selling hardware platform, driven by the Slim PlayStation 4 system in Gold with 1TB HDD,” said Piscatella. “It was the best performing June for PlayStation 4 unit sales to date.” - “Year to date, hardware spending has grown 19 percent versus 2016 to $1.4 billion,” said Piscatella. “The Nintendo Switch has been the catalyst for year-to-date growth. But portable hardware spending continues to decline. Year-to-date, spending on portable hardware has fallen 40 percent.”
Ryan Kelly
Switch is dead.
Jose Hernandez
>A remaster sold more than shitty ARMS
Xavier Peterson
>Only give numbers for three games What shitty sales info.
Blake Adams
>Piscatella This idiot knows that is because nintendo having stock problems and switch have a very high demand or is just a sonyfag???
James Murphy
>The PlayStation 4 was June’s best-selling hardware platform Nintenbabbies eternally BTFO
Enjoy your voice-chat and console with non-existent sales you fucking toddlers.
Jaxon Cooper
wtf is arms
Nicholas Gray
Arms already sold mlre than v expectations so start swalloing those crows
Noah Adams
A shitty game made by nu-Nintendo. Expect more from the Wii U 2.
Joshua Russell
PS4 >have already stock in stores.
Switch >Sold out in minutes >Don't restock until 1 or 2 weeks later. >Stock problems because the high demand.
Remember user tomorrow Splatoon 2 hope they have enough stocks this time
Hunter Bennett
Are you literally shaking?
Samuel Jackson
>Stock problems because the high demand. No one wants one around where I am. Once all the flush of scalpers and fanboys had their way, its been stocked for a while on top of daily local listings popping up.
It's good at creating artificial demand though.
It is obvious why people are going to the store and getting a PS4 though. Its a much better console.
Eli Brooks
Kinda , im at work
Hunter Butler
Nope is because they already crash their first one. And sonyfag stop being desperate you know is true
Lucas Hall
>No one wants one around where I am. Europe or South America?
Alexander Miller
Canada. It's dead here.
Adrian Collins
Amazon have restock tomorrow I think
Juan Cox
But Sup Forums told me Horizon flopped like a motherfucker
Samuel Diaz
With usa and japan, arms already sold like 400k. Not bad for a new IP
Thomas Moore
>B-but Horizon: Zero Dawn was suppose to fail. SJW's don't buy game remember guys?
Jace Perry
nu Sup Forums can't accept this. I fucking told them right from the beginning.
Next stop, GOTY.
Caleb Powell
At least you're not denying that it is in fact a sjw game.
Isaac Morales
NPD doesn't release sales numbers, so there aren't any.
Kayden Collins
don't lie yourself user Horizon or Zelda but not that crap
Nathaniel Walker
Arms is on the list and only sold 250k and it's a lot higher than Horizon. Summer months are also always shitty months for game sales.
Camden Brown
Thrn explain why they gave numbers for arms, zelda and mario kart.
Nicholas Hall
next week Nintendo will tell us the real number but wich day is the financial records???
Nicholas Campbell
>yfw Shitendo finally goes bankrupt after shitch becomes TORtanic 2.0 Best timeline motherfuckers >b-b-b-b-ut i'man idort! Lol centrist cuck nigger
L I T E R A L L Y S H A K I N G
Will look forward to it, thanks. Can't wait for Mario 06!
Adam Powell
Help Sony when they restock more than 6 units at a time. Also, the whole "Sold out in minutes" narrative doesn't work. If people are buying the Nintendo Switch in droves everywhere in the world, how come it's isn't #1 in NPD this month?
I eagerly await a response more intelligent than just shortages. Surely four months Nintendo would've manufactured more than 4M, right?
Chase Ward
Nintendo released those numbers themselves you fucking idiot.
Brody Howard
I will just wait next week for the financial records so we know the truth
Asher Barnes
so did ARMS flop or not.
I'm not looking for shitposting. I don't know much about sales trends so I'm legit curious
Justin Baker
like 500k right now across japan and NA without counting europe. Considering it is a new ip is doing fucking great, Splatoon 1 did a little less than 200k in NA on its month release in npd numbers,
Chase Gonzalez
like splatoon 1 at the beginning
James Brown
Those numbers are selectively released by Nintendo and are available to the public.
Jayden Reed
Didn't flop but it's not the “Splatoon 2.0” some people hyped it up to be
Justin Bell
It's sold more than 3D World and Splatoon did in their first month in NA, so that's pretty good.
Tyler Lopez
It's doing fine, but I doubt it'll be Splatoon tier
Lincoln Phillips
420k*
James Green
Nintendo doesn't entirely have a choice in how much they can manufacture, they can't get their foot in the door to claim all the resources to build over larger companies. And yes it is actually selling out quickly.
Anthony Reyes
>how come it's isn't #1 in NPD this month? >everywhere in the world NPD is only for north america and there is a limit to the qunaitty of consoles you can make and ship. Also nintendo is saving shipping for the bigger relaeses like splatoon and probably mario on holidays. Hence why this week stores are getting restocked.
Eli Richardson
That's what I figured. Throughout the entire promotional campaign the reception was basically Splatoon on a slightly smaller scale. I'm glad that it's doing good because this shit has so much franchise potential
Thomas Perez
So who won?
Anthony Bennett
the top 5 games.
John Long
I'll give you a hint.
Leo Torres
crash has a decent price , ARMS is a 60 bucks demo
Anthony Long
Nintendo will win this month thanks to Splatoon
Thomas Ward
In terms of profit? Everyone but Microsoft
Thomas Cooper
Not him, but we already know JP's sale from Media Create's weekly report. And the Switch's worst performing region is Europe, so its definitely not outperforming there either.
Ultimately, I think Switch's sales in line with expectation, selling slightly below 3DS due to shrinking traditional handheld market share, because of mobile shit.
Grayson Gonzalez
Is doing like splatoon did in it's first month globally.
Logan James
>selling below 3D 70-80 millions life time is my bet kn switch
Nicholas Lewis
>yfw you realize Microsoft is a billion dollar corporation that makes these console for fun and not necessarily for profit.
Where were you when Xbox became the final bastion for gaming?
