Here's your Dragon's Dogma sequel, bro.

Oh Capcom
another great business decision by Capcom, how do they do it.
hopefully the DD rerelease in the fall will convince Capcom to port DDO, also those giants looked cool.
...
what the fuck
FUCKING CAPCOM
...
there are more than the standard 9 classes in DDO.
oh the AoT shit is just a costume? wew
...
So if we buy it a 4th time for PS4 or Xbone we can have DDO in English right? Or dare I say it... a sequel?
Alchemist looks pretty dope. I hope it gets included in a proper sequel. Or at least a proper western release.
I'd prefer a sequel, but I'm OK with this for now too
Means I can finally play it without needing a fucking VPN
Wasn't DD more popular in the west anyway? I can understand not bringing the MH mmo over but there is literally no reason not to bring DDO over.
I found alchemist to be underwhelming.
If you are properly geared it does good damage, but if you are not it's just miserable to play.
Is also suffers from the same problem of DD's gameplay: you spam your best skill until the enemy dies, and you have some movement and block skill.
It's also not relevant in late game because the shield sage is a better tank and status effect dealer than the alchemist could ever hope to be (yes alc is a tank). The balance in this game seems pretty shit anyways, warriors are kings everywhere.
pretty sure seeker is the best melee dps right now due to their new beyblade ability
I see, I haven't checked out on the updates.
But it's always like this, when one class can do more damage with a single skills than the others it becomes the only one viable.
Back in 2012 Capcom said DD underperformed in the west but was an unexpected success in Japan. At that time there were actually more preorders in Japan than overall sales in the west. It's likely that Dark Arisen sold better in Japan too, and this is why the nips get preferential treatment when it comes to Dragon's Dogma.
Although maybe with the PC port of Dark Arisen, western sales could have surpassed jap by now
That blonde she-goat.
how jewish/grindy is it?
Fuck you Capcom, I'll buy Dragon's Dogma a third time when the remaster comes out later and you still won't even give us a sequel or the garbage mmo.
>grindy
yes
>jewish
kind of
One of the reasons I'm hoping for an offline sequel. I had fun messing around with all of the classes in DD. It's no fun having to focus on being efficient all of the time in MMOs.
>here
but it isnt
You and your pawn can raise a pet? That's cool i guess
...
STILL NO WESTERN RELEASE WHERES THE WORLDWIDE RELEASE YOU FUCKING CHINKS YOU SAID IT WOULD BE WORLDWIDE YOU FUCKING ASSHOLES FUCKING CRAPCOM REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
early 2019, mark my words.
So what you're saying is they lied because it's never going to happen...
isn't this the attack on titan game?
...
Absolutely loling at EOPs
#notmydragonsdogma
Leveling is fun, not too grindy.
Gearing up for endgame is hell. You run the same dungeon over and over getting carried by your OP as fuck rented pawns until you have enough materials.
Then you need to level up your pawns crafting, but don't fuck it up with wrong stats or they will be gimped. Relying on rented pawns for crafting costs an absurd amount of riftbucks that you need to spend to get carried. BUT WAIT! That gear you just now crafted isn't the best yet, so now do the process again with another dungeon.
If you don't want to get carried by pawns it's even more grindy because you have to gradually get gear from the dungeons before.
Not to mention, the game is a vertical progression treadmill. Over time that gear you spent hours to get will be rewarded by future main quests.
But, of course, none of this is a problem if you spend money to buy LOTTERY TICKETS that have a chance to give you decent gear. So yes, it's also jewish and p2w, as you would expect from a f2p game.
the lottery weapons are leveling weapons, they're not as good as end game crafted stuff
No Western release yet, I take it?
ENGLISH WHEN?!
NEVER EVER
I'm still mad too.
Fuck you, Capcom.
Kek, this sounds like absolute fucking trash. Glad I've never wasted any time on these shit MMOs apart from Dungeon&Dragons Online.
>DDfags have to buy the game 3 times for a chink mmo
>online
>still has pawns
Anyway, as long as the core gameplay is good you can contrive as many reasons as you bloody well like to keep me playing.
DD wasn't that good, though. It was alright then deincentivized all the fun playstyles of instant blocking projectiles for the one that lets you shoot them in the face.
I still enjoyed the game, most classes are fun (spellcasters are as boring for me as they were in DD) and it's very fun to explore the world while leveling if you have friends.
Pawns are there because the world is instanced, so you will never find other players on the map, just in the city. They work in the same way as DD basically. Still a nice addition, it's fun to customize them and build your party.
If you liked Dragon's Dogma this game will be fun but make no mistake, it's not a good MMO.
Personally I would play it if only they released it in the west. Yes the JP servers are fine, but the jp comunity despises foreign players (because they use the shout chat in english and don't understand japanese) so you always feel isolated, the eng comunity is small, the most recent patches are almost always never translated, cutscene dialogue is not translated so you have no idea what's happening even though you really want to because the story seems interesting.
Ah, easy as, thanks for the reply.
I guess I'll just resume the waiting game. Not like I don't have a backlog a mile long.
Maybe the game won't feel empty if it's an MMO
>three warriors to take out one saurion
how embarrassing
REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
You have to do the weekly scheduled event quests (Grand Missions) to get mats for the top tier gear.
The fights can be fun but it's a fucking chore to get there. I quit around level 50 on 2/3 classes.
Okay so Dragons Dogma thread?
Should I change my pawn from Sorcerer to Mage? It takes him so fucking long to cast spells.
Give him miasma
Release it in the west you fucks.
He already has it.
can you play this in the US, or is it purely JP only ? even if i buy a ps4 version ?
Well regardless I wouldn't suggest swapping classes. All the good spells are shared between them or sorc only
Fucking capcom, I need another dragon's dogma in my life. PLEASE
