CoD, because of Trevor Fucking Belmont
LoD>CoD>LoI>C64>POWER GAP>LoS1>POWER GAP>LoS2
What if I am new to the series, only played SotN (and few minutes of LoS before I threw up and threw that piece of crap in the garbage) and don't care that much about characters.
Then instead of playing the shitty 3D games, you should be playing 2D.
What if you actually got bad meta jokes?
Lament of Innocence for me.

Is Lament of Innocence worth bothering with? Does it get repetitive? It's not a cheap game so I got to know. Is it boring is the main question?
Lament of Innocence is good but only problem is it's rather basic. Imagine Devil May Cry but all you can really use is a whip. Not necessarily a bad thing but it gets dull quick. Curse of Darkness has weapon variety, armor/weapon crafting, a really nice familiar system, chair collecting, and a badass soundtrack. Playing CoD first might ruin your experience for Lament but both are enjoyable to play.
Play Dracula X on Snes so you get a good feeling then you can try both
>playing a shittier RoB
>"which one specifically should I pick X or Y?"
>"play Z lol"
Why are you doing this?
Curse of Darkness because I'm a sucker for evolving I.D and crafting bullshit
Why do you want to play 3D Castlemania?
LoI has a few outstanding tracks, but overall I think CoD OST was better.

Lol, well i'm dumb sorry
Because I am in the mood for 3D Castlevania now.
Then play Legacy Of Darkness, it's alright. Asking about the 6th gen games is just picking your poison, especially when some of the greatest action games came out in the same era are are worth your time more so.
This is completely wrong. LoI's combo system gradually evolves as the game goes on. Meanwhile all of CoD's weapons are copy/pasted Dynasty Warriors movesets.
>played Curse of Darkness
>expected a giant castle in 3D and really challenging enemies
>the castle was small and the enemies were easy
Still mad.
Lament of Innocence has nice atmosphere, a god tier soundtrack and is better as an action game than CoD.
Go for it, OP.
