It's not a good show, but it's got a lot of heart.

RWBY is a pretty standard anime plot about girls who go to magic highschool to learn how to fight evil darkness monsters, with cat girls and robot girls and every waifu you could ever want. There's a faction of evil people who want to use sadness and fear monsters to destroy the world because ??? and only these four teenage girls can stop them. So, about as edgy as you think it would be.

The fight scenes are kinda cool and the character designs are 10/10, but other than that it's shit.

Her show isn't good, but she's a qt.

I enjoyed Season 3 until they cut the tournament short but it got way better when actual consequences started happening

It still doesn't look that good. I kind of hate the new models they used for Season 4. The animation is technically better, but the characters look like they're made of play-doh and the proportions get really wacky in some scenes.

Monty was a great animator when it came to fight scenes, but when it came to normal non-fight stuff he kinda was meh, at least in the first two volumes.

Volume 5 will bring more action fortunately, which is what volume 4 seriously lacked.

Season 3 was probably the best from a story telling standpoint but it had the worst fights in the series. Which is ironic since it was literally the battle tournament arc. Yang vs. Mercury was the only good fight from the entire season.

Season 4 also had some really bad pacing issues. Blake is still a shitty character and having Sun tag along with her was the only thing that saved her plotline. He's too good to keep getting paired with worst girl. Yang's arc also both somehow dragged on too long yet was resolved way too quickly at the same time. Same with Weiss.

I really believe he just didn't care. Dude loved animating fights and half-assed everything else

The show is pretty shit but I'm actually kind of disappointed it didn't get a full game. The character designs and fighting styles are the only good things about it and we'll probably only get team RWBY and maybe one other character like Cinder at best.
