The point I'm trying to make is that real professional IQ tests are stupid too and not a real measure of raw intelligence.

I'm on the autism spectrum so naturally I'm better at problem solving, puzzles, mathematics, etc. IQ tests are based around those things so naturally I scored relatively high even though I don't consider myself to be that smart.

Intelligence should be measured through accomplishments.

Intelligence shouldn't be measured at all due to the overwhelming amount of knowledge in the world. A chef may be incredibly intelligent when it comes to food, history of food, etc, but they'll be (most likely) fucking clueless when it comes to hair procedures, hair care, and other salon things.

IQ doesn't mean much in terms of success. A lot of the people with the highest IQs in history ended up leading unfilled lives and were depressed as fuck.

We're in an age where vast amounts of knowledge can be obtained by using your mobile phone to look things up on the internet. Having access to knowledge means nothing if you can't apply it for anything useful.

Well that's wrong, a lot of research went into creating the iq test and obviously it's not the best but it's the closest thing we have. Generally of you have a high spacial intelligence that will correlate highly with verbal intelligence and everything else. Meaning iq is a good rough estimate. I don't think you should let your iq dictate your life, but there is a reason it's national go to intelligence test.
