Parappa the Rapper 2 is objectively the greatest rhythm game ever created. Prove me wrong.
You can't.

They tried kickstarting something called Rap Rabbit but unfortunately the marketing was next to none and it didn't even come close.
basically this. Parappa the Rapper 2 might have some memes and more fluid animations to it, but it can't beat this games levels
Consider promptly ending your own lives. Even though Lammy was better than parappa 1, it comes no where near the perfection of parappa 2. The fact that it gives you a reason to replay the game with the different hat colors is what truly makes the game shine. Also it has the best songs.
Parappa 2 fucking sucks. There isn't a single memorable song in it and the story is fucking trash.
hell yeah
>there isn't a single memorable song
stages 2,3,6 and 7 wanna have a word with you
I played Parappa 2 twice. And I don't remember how any of those songs go. Hence, not memorable.
Whereas with Parappa 1 and Um Jammer Lammy I can hum the melodies and sing the lyrics to every single song in the game.
You're basically fucking retarded then and obviously weren't even good enough to play a rhythm game for kids. Literally everything about 2 is better than the other games combined.
What's it like having shit taste?
>C H I N E S E
I dunno man, you tell me.
I like Parappa 2 better than 1 simply because it will tell you exactly where your input lands. 1 will just drop me in rank and I'm left wondering if I pressed too late or too early or what the fuck.

Compare these masterpieces to this generic unmemorable mediocrity

I didn't even use the Parappa version of Lammy's songs, which would be cheating. Fix your shit taste
Hey there.
isn't that tied to the old game being unoptimized for newer screens or something?
ARE YOU READY?
LET'S STEP! STEP!
FRENCH THE FRIES
Parappa and Rhythm heaven are great rhythm games for relaxing
But the best are the most challenging ones
guitar hero is also gud
I never played Pump. How easy is it to learn if I'm good at DDR/ITG?
>tfw no friend to play multiplayer with
>tfw I finally have a reason to post this image
Well I mean it should be the same for both games (there might be delay on a modern TV which is bad for a strict rhythm game) but Parappa 2 will place a marker on the input area when you push the button so you know which way to adjust your timing and by how much.
Lmaooo are you fucking serious man? Every song from the parappa series is memorable, the difference is literally every song from 2 is a masterpiece. That baby baby shit from lammy is objectively garbage.
I'm convinced people who like Lammy over 2 are just closet furfags who want to fuck a lamb.
I'd say that Objectively, the best rhythm game is undeniably Beatmania IIDX. It has the best sound design and the tightest gameplay of all.
Still, I prefer DDR. Singleplayer narrative-driven rhythm games are great, too, though.
then you already have the coordination to play, its just about learning the layout, i prefer the pump it up layout to the ddr since it feels more natural and well its five buttons
wrongo
patapon 2 is the greatest rhythm game ever created
vib ribbon is the best nanaon-sha game
maybe the best rhythm game ever
These two guys are right. I like having a little more to do than just pressing buttons in time with music. Both are charming as fuck too.
Is Rhythm Heaven the only real rhythm game ever created? You can even play it with eyes closed and just listen to the rhythm as soon as you know the controls for each minigame.
I like it but I don't like anything that is "push these arbitrary buttons I'm telling you to push." which from my experience is every other rhythm game ever.
>prince fleaswallow more memorable than "Make you big kid"
They both have memorable tunes. Sounds like you just have bad memory
How about keyboardmania?

Never played it. Tried to emulate but PS2 emulation is trash.
It's not just the shitty PS2 emulation. There isn't a single rhythm/music game from any system that emulates well enough to actually play.
I beat Parappa 1 on PPSSPP and Guitar Hero VH on Dolphin using the in game lag calibration. Parappa 2 is just straight up broken on rpscxpscpcxp2.
Thats why rhythm heaven is my favorite rhythm series too. I do like the more standard kind of games in the genre but it's just more satisfying the way rhythm heaven operates.
It's hard to get invested in with that small of a songlist desu.
Plus, IIDX Double is basically the same thing anyways.
I very much can.
I don't wanna prove you wrong. Have great memories with the series.
Same with Gitaroo
Here's a less retarded question: What are some underrated rhythm games? Personally I don't think pic related gets enough respect.
