It wasn't particularly challenging but it was funky as fuck and a lot of fun.
Say what you want about JRPGs but they really excel at that with their final bosses.
Amen
...
You already posted it my fuckin nigga. That OST was elder god tier
youtube.com
You are not worthy as my opponent
I beat this game but still had no idea what the plot was towards the end
I was not prepared

This game got fucking hype for a rape hentai game
youtube.com
THis one for sure.
>Go into his fight blind
>Tough but manageable first form
>Haha this is easy as shi-
>Oh fuck
An amazing, perfect video game moment.
Didn't hit me the same way since it was derivative of the last game's final boss. Even in music. There should have been a separate fight with Callie beforehand. With all the stuff that was reused I'm sure they had time to do another boss.
That being said, I got pretty hyped when they gave me the Rainmaker.
>tfw had a crush for Jubileus
Undyne's music was better
youtube.com
GIVE ME COFFEE.. FOR THE HORSE.. FOR.. THE.. HORSE!!!!!
ABANDON
The boss itself was just okay but holy SHIT the music is fucking incredible

DELUSIONS

I'll get this obvious one out of the way.
GRANDEUR
NATUUUUURE
Following all the cutscenes and Yonah, rather Gestalt Yonah willfully dying in front of her father. Plus the stuff with Emil and the Warriors from Facade... it was an emotional peak. Plus with youtube.com
The fight itself isn't that challenging though.
>Sup Forums likes ff13 now
What the fuck happened?
youtube.com
This happened.
Opening the door to him and seeing him spawn in only to killl him through trial and error with my friends is one of top 5 experiences i've had with games.
...
wow it sounds exactly the same as any other orchestrated final boss music from a jrpg
Was going to post this. That fight was awesome along with the music. 2's final boss was so shit.
...
Came here to post this
This is how a fucking dragon boss battle should be done. Good lord the music + tainted mountain setting + Grigori VA = Wow
Its was an amazing ride all the way through. Grigori was a great dragon.
>Dark Souls 3
>Final Area
>Wait what, isnt that the fucking armor from the boxart
>The fucking armor in the boxart was the final fucking boss
youtube.com
>>>>Get him to half health
>Second Phase with Gwyn inspired moveset
>>>>>>>This fucking theme plays
youtube.com
>all the sexual undertones during this fight in the JP version because he was possessing Hope for too long
Holy shit I want to play that taiko map so bad.
Really? I found it was the other way around with the first phase being tough and the sword form being pretty easy. That being said, it was still a hype as shit moment.
Second phase pissed me off because
>we get a proper gwyn fight 2 games later
>most of his moveset is exactly the same, dodge timing and all
Yes.

I started raiding too late to do Atheon blind so I'll have to go with Aksis
Plus Atheon doesn't have any music, something you don't notice during the fight but do when watching replays
youtube.com
A low-budget Bayonetta ripoff didn't deserve to be so fucking awesome.
youtube.com
I like to imagine the faces on symphony-goers if you played something like this in the 1700s.
Probably something like that. Aroused and clueless.
I and most would disagree
This was so difficult on hard but man was it fucking good. One of my favorite games ever.
Say what you will about 4/4A, but it has one of the GOAT ost
youtube.com
Agreed.
I didn't get the DLC until a NG+4 run and the amount of health that first form had combined with the amount of damage he can spit out just cocked me dozens of times
The sword form i only needed to attempt twice
But back on topic, the moment of transformation was 10/10
100%
I think part of it's how repetitive most JRPG content is. Anything with different presentation & BGM automatically stands out
Then there's the slow progression through the entirety of the game--makes finally reaching the end feel like reaching the summit
The genre is very well suited to good climaxes even if the game itself isn't so good
holy shit yes
literally the GOAT
...
It was pretty impressive to me at the time
YOU THINK YOU MASTERED PAIN?
THERE ARE NO RULES IN THIS GAME
CAST A RITUAL TAUNT
RIGHT BEFORE THE BLOOD LUST HUNT
The design of that arena was fucking amazing, but the fight mechanic was terrible.
LET THE MUSIC PLAY ON
It would've been a great fight if parrying wasn't overpowered as fuck
