Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen thread

The wind is pushing me!

There is nothing wrong with warrior having only three skills.

Especially when their jumping light attack is so fucking good.

>The wind is pushing me!

IT'S 'NEATH THE FALTERED SKY CROSS LOAMLESS PLAINS AND WATERED BLIGHT REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

I was loving playing with bow in this game, until I finally discovered Tenfold Flurry. It kinda ruined the weapon for me, it's just so fucking broken, it's just a nuke to the face and I can't stop using it. I'll just change class.

>playing ddda
>senpai comes talk to me
>asks me why I'm playing as a little girl in a thong
What do lads

Have you used Ninefold Bolt in BBI?
That shit is so ridiculously broken, specially since a lot of BBI enemies are weak to ice.

Nothing wrong if you have autism that allows you to enjoy doing the same three things for hundreds of hours.

Just be yourself

Stat bonus from slutwear because japanese rpg, short because fit into small caves for loot.

...

...

Also you can use the Magick Rebalancer dagger skill which is like a Periapt and you can stack it up to 4x.
Magick Archer is the most broken vocation in the game.

...

For some reason there are only offline pawns showing up for me. I can still summon player made pawns but they never appear in the rift nor in the world. Does anyone know why this is happening?

Are you level 200?
For some reason the game glitches and you have to search for level 199 pawns.

I am, but what's even weirder is that on my alt accounts (which are also level 200) player made pawns show up anywhere normally.

I don't know what to tell you. Try to look for differences between the characters, including Main Pawn level, vocation, and if you have rested somewhere after leveling to 200 because I know resting at places changes stuff online.

I dont like playing 4 characters a once.. how is this? can you fully solo it?

I've recently been playing this again. Originally played until post-game but never went to BBI.

Switched from Mystic Knight to Magick Archer and I had to practically finish the whole fucking game before I got a weapon for myself. Fuck. I was using some shitty bow for the entirety of BBI including 1st form last boss.

I'll look into it, thanks.

You only play one character. The rest autopilot. And they do so surprisingly well most of the time, really. You can't really solo unless you know what you're doing both in terms of gameplay and gear and builds. At most you'll have your main character and his/her sworn "ally" with you at all times. You can only get rid of it by killing it off and not using the stones that bring it back.

When I first started out I found the 3 pawns in my party actually helping me out a lot and playing decently. On the other hand, sometimes you get some useless sack of shit you end up resurrecting every time the boss swings his hand once.

You can. As soon as you summon your Main Pawn you can send Rook away and throw your Main Pawn down the cliff and you can be alone.
The assassin vocation is pretty much made with solo play in mind, but you will have problems when facing enemies that are immune to physical damage like phantoms.

Just beat Daimon's 2nd form in hard mode. Damn, this beast is awfully powerful in hard, it oneshots you with practically anything. I had to abuse items to stagger it during its rift attack, otherwise I can't get past 3-4 health bars because of the overwhelming spells it cast. Also, no magick shield powerful enough to make great cannon viable.

Alright thanks, thinking about getting it on PS4 soon.

Just an advice if you intend to play solo, go for the Magick Archer vocation. It's a physical/ranged magick vocation so you will be covered for everything.
