I bought mine months ago and all I have for it are 2 games.

It's getting nothing but movies sadly. Just like the Switch actually with cinematic experiences like SMT, No More Heroes, Zelda, Xenoblade, and if they're lucky, a port of Bayonetta which was a movie exclusive to the WiiU.

Consoles don't really like gameplay anymore.

Also Bloodborne is a poor man's Dark Souls. Even if you think one is better than the other, guess what they're the exact same game. With the Mario/zelda/smash nothing is similar to those games. I don't even like Mario/splatoon/zelda or own a Switch but there's nothing similar to those games at all, where most PS4 exclusives there are things similar to them (Nioh/Bloodborne = Dark Souls essentially)

That's just your bias. Zelda is, at best, a poor man's Witcher. There's no good gameplay whatsoever, and you can see this demonstrated in the threads about Zelda. Xbox practically has none. It used to have Halo/Gears of War, but those series are in the trash now. Since it's owned by Microsoft any game on Xbone will be on PC. It keeps advertising TitanFall/Minecraft/Forza as its flagship games but all those games are better on PC.

PS4/Switch have good exclsuives sure, but do those exclusives justifying overpaying for a console when you have a PC. Also 90% of PS4 exclusives are weebtier.

It doesn't necessarily help if there aren't enough variety in those titles. The only people who bought 360 for exclusive titles were Halo fans and the PS4 has similar problem.
It's not a big deal for the console manufacturer if your main target audience is people who only want multiplatform games though.

Mario is the most unique game Nintendo has because pure platformers, especially 3D ones, are pretty much dead. Similar stuff exists (I.E. Jak, Ratchet, Banjo, Crash) but in general the speed and design of Mario is pretty unique. I can't say I was a huge fan of the stuff on the Wii U, but Odyssey at least looks like a return to the 64/Sunshine/Galaxy design.

First, I already mentioned I don't care about or own Zelda. So it's not my bias. Second, Witcher is way more similar to Bloodborne than to Zelda.

PS4 exclusives, of course. It's not an expensive console, either. PS4 is cheaper than Switch, and PSN has sales unlike Nintendo.
Their games are the same in quality, so which games you like is completely subjective. PS4 is just the objectively better choice due to hardware, peripherals and price.

All games have similarities in design, it's hard to fault them for that. You have to really look and feel what they do, and how well they do it.
Bloodborne has no puzzles, but the action gameplay is fast and satisfying. It also has lore that is damn neat (and somewhat original, at least for the medium), if you can get into it. Not much emphasis on story, albeit more than its predecessors. 7/10, it's my favorite "Soulsborne" but it loses marks for lacking freshness. Removing shields ain't enough.

The Witcher 3 has no puzzles, the combat is pointless and annoying and riddled with technical issues even after 100gb of patches, the skill tree is your typical "Look, this AAA production is an RPG guys" even though it's blatantly an Action-Adventure. The characters are great, if lacking any real development in this entry. Story is a shitter that leaves you with a bitter taste (and not because it's written that way). 4/10, I'll read a book next time.

Breath of the Wild has puzzles. Puzzles I played 15 fucking years ago and got burned out on. Again, combat is pointless and no challenge is presented (literally, combat is entirely optional, which was cool in fucking Morrowind because it was an RPG). The game reads and plays like a frankenstein of everything popular since /ss/ released, thrown into the bland, low fantasy backdrop parking lot set they used to film The Witcher TV series. Fuck story, fuck characters, fuck well designed and unique puzzles, fuck decent combat with a good bit of enemy variety, fuck framerate, fuck graphics, fuck level design, fuck dungeons. Remember to buy the DLC. 9/10, I enjoyed it for 5 hours.

I'd say there's still enough for PS4 that I want to keep it. The multiplats I've played have been pretty great, but the general amount of games that appeal to me are few and far between. I'm even burnt out on Souls games at this point that not even Nioh could give me a pick-me-up. Bloodborne is an all-time favorite, but when I played it I had only played Demons' Souls. By Dark Souls 3 I was pretty fatigued. Didn't like P5. Yet another repetitive overlong JRPG with awful writing. Don't know why I bother with them still. At least Nier comes from somewhere personal.

Then there's the fucking movie games. I've enjoyed my fair share of them, but only with friends. Playing these by yourself has to be a total snorefest. I just let my normalfag friends buy them and I get to have the full experience. I think I'm most interested in Spider-Man as of right now. I started this post saying there's still a reason to keep this but as it went on I realized there's not a lot I'm looking forward to.
