Huh. Never knew about the Sony Dual-Screen. In all truth, I like its design.

To answer your question, though, wouldn't the PSTV technically be the same as the Switch?

Hopefully they'll do it soon because the wait is killing me

>iPad
>Fuck Sony!

They also copied MS with paid online and triggers.

lmao

There were tablets decades before iPad.

Oh the tears. Literally only uneducated kiddies believe this meme. Its so fucking desperate you might as well include pocket calculators as proof of LCD gaming before the GameBoy.

Bow before Nintendo you child and stop living in denial of historical fact.

Pretty much this, Nintendo didn't invent anything but the shit-eating fanboy and even then, it's probably an Atari rip off

During gen 6, Nintendo kept the Wii controller underwraps.

Without Nintendo to copy, pic related is what Sony came up with for their new console. Fucking hilarious.

Keep living in denial. Oh dear.

People who held that controller said it was way more comfortable and easier to use than the Dualshock.

The eyetoy was a precursor to the Wii motion controller wich was offered to Sony first but they rejected that shit since they'd been working on that since Eyetoy for years.

Thread blew up in OPs face kek

Hopefully not very long. A Switch with good hardware and third party games you could play on the go would be nice.

the real innovators were companies like sega, atari, snk, etc. fucking sony and nintendo did jackshit!

I'd buy a Vita 2 in a heartbeat

aka, fucking nobody.

dualshocks are the best controllers.

Not really the same as the switch. I would put it closer to the super gameboy/gameboy player as it only worked on the tv or on the handheld, never both at the same time

>doing improvements is wrong

the future is now, old man

Probably soon and then it will fail miserably. Sony doesn't have any originality.

Uh oh

deleta isso

MOOOODS

Does this really mean that much to you fucking fanboys? Why give a fuck who came up with dual sticks or an analog stick or fucking shoulder buttons, at least there is enough similarities that you don't have to relearn a new fucking controller just to play on a different console. Improvements on existing products are a good thing you shit lords.

'Risk' kiddo. It's all about RISK. Nintendo had the balls to do it.

No, how dare anyone take on an idea and improve it? It's outrageous.

>screams for mods when Nintenfags started this fight, now they want out

Makes sense I'd be Nintendo since they can get away with anything, really. The next Metroid could have a difficulty unlock by rubbing the fresh blood of a human sacrifice on the charger port and people would be ok with it.

>Thread is about copying
>Now it's about risk not original ideas
Nintendbros suck even in their own threads

>Impying that Nintendo's R&D need to copy anything.

If Sony and Nintendo both came up with the same idea respectively, then the company who took the risk to make it a reality deserve the credit. Sony would be far too shit scared to step outside their comfort zone.

And to be fair, I'm not a sony hater, I own every Playstation. But they really are shameless.

>aka, fucking nobody.
>dualshocks are the best controllers.

>No ergonomics what so fucking ever
>Designed for hands of a 10 year old Japanese girl
>Best controller

Ok

- Sony literally invented the SNES CD for Nintendo, then took it inhouse after Nintendo kicked them out of the project.
- Nintendo nor Sony aren't the first ones to come up with an analog stick. You should've highlighted the fact it's thumb-operated, which was invented by Nin... oh, sorry, a Sega third-party peripheral manufacturer called Dempa in 1989.
- The Dream Eye was unveiled to the public in 2000 and the Eye Toy in 2003. The former was just a webcam, like computers had for a few years, the latter was differentiated by actually using algorithms to detect motion.

Oh not (You) again, kill yourself

Looks like Sony had the patent long before Nintendo did, Sony made PSVR they've been the most innovtive out of the consoles these past few years.

Nintendo and Xbone do not have VR, Nintendo seems like they're the ones playing it safe since they typically do well in the handheld market, hence the easy decision to kill the WiiU after only 4 years (just like the original Xbox1) and introduce the Switch is partially handheld focused.

- How on earth is Intellivision's disc or numpad even remotely similar to Nintendo's D-pad?
- Comparing the VMU to the Wii U? Might as well say the GBA was a controller with screen on the GameCube.
- The Bandai Family Trainer was literally re-branded by Nintendo for the US market. It's the same thing.
- Modem: The Famicom Modem wasn't used for anything remotely similar to what the CVC GameLine was used for. A comparison with the Satellaview would've been slightly more fair.
- The Vectrex 3D Imager was much closer to the Famicom 3D Glasses than the Virtual Boy.
- Multitap: The earliest multi-controller adapter was the Joypair by HAL Laboratory, released in Japan for Nintendo's Family Computer in 1985

Also, most of these aren't even believed to be commonly invented by Nintendo, but they're the ones who made it mass market. Same problem people have with Apple.

When did Nintendo patent the Switch anyway?
Also Sony going into VR was an attempt at playing things safe due to the already established interest in VR at the time.

There was no established interest in VR in the console market before PSVR.

>Nintendo and Xbone do not have VR

Nintendo dabbled with the VirtuaBoy. They halfassed it and got their fingers burnt. Not surprised they have cold feet about it.

>insults pic
>links nintenbro video
>nintenbro confirms pic
>keep living in denial. oh dear

oh dear is right...

The PSTV isn't a handheld. It's a small console that plays the same games as the Vita.

Perfection isn't copying
It's called drone logic
Nintendo never invented anything
Kek the switch idea was stolen from both Razer and chink shit tablets
That controller was always a prototype, also people said it was comfortable
M2 fellow Sonybro
Haha Nintendo always copy

>what is Oculus Rift?

They've already left the handheld market. 3DS raped them so badly I seriously doubt they'll ever come back again.

The original Wii U prototype from back before 2010 was already this idea. Nice try though. Rallied a few falseflaggers.

>implying consolecucks are never jelly of mustard tech

What an awful chart...and a tripfag? Unironically kys

>Implying consoles are in need of vidya
>Implying consoles are in competition with PC
>Implying all consoles and all PCs have access to the same amount of vidya

>GladiumTonitrua !!zcFZLXRSEqn

this is the base idea for wiiu noob

Yes this is the prototype that led to the Wii U. However it is more similar to what the Switch is. The point is that Nintendo's idea for the Switch wasn't "stolen" from some random Sony patent, considering that patent itself is a ripoff of this prototype from years previous. Try to keep up Sonyfag.
