Crashes after I choose a stage and see the Stage Start. Crashes either before I try to move or after I try to move.

Nah, it freezes. Screen becomes a garbled mess of color palettes/pixels.

Huh. In older versions of PPSSPP, you just had to press start if the game ever froze and it'd play just fine. Update to the latest version.

I did. Shame that they never got to make remakes for X2 and beyond.

This time it froze right at the point in Chill Penguin's stage where you would expect the Foot Part, based on the old game. Even my display driver had a hiccup.

Vile mode was fun.

MHX was great and it was a step in the direction the series should have been going.

Unfortunately It released for PSP which fucking nobody had and if the few who did pirated it. Causing Capcom to cancel the planned sequels.

I wasn't a big fan of Vile mode. Vile's too awkward and clunky. It's not fun.

The hell are you talking about Vile was great, hell you can even kill the main characters in a 2vs1 duel with vile, if it wasn't for the plot armor vile could bring peace to the world.
