Having 50 employees busy to earn 10k a month isn't a profit, you need to redistribute your assets to maximize income. If the game had continued it would have probably be degraded into some gacha bullshit and pay2win microtransactions that you would have hated anyways.

A bunch of games are canned when near completion for the same reason, it's so much money to market, publish and distribute a game, that might as well dump an almost complete game and spend those resources in something more profitable.

If they sold the rights to the fans I'd be very happy. Until then I weill never buy their productss and will side with North Korea on all aspects just out how hope they bomb Seoul and take out NCsoft for taking away COH.
